Sick and tired of probing Federation detention facility

its actually starting to get to me... i dont wanna do these. i dont wanna loose my rep with any of the empire factions

but time after time after time when im sacanning for Cosmic signals trying to find combat sites i keep constantly getting these stupid combat sites the Federation Detention Facility...... why are there sooooo many of them EVERYWHERE?????? seriosly!!!!!! why these????

You have dscan, probes and an overview. Constant attention to these prevent ganks. Barring that, scan something that isn't high sec. Problem solved.

It's not ganked when you leave Highsec, it's consensual PVP, or pawned.

Probably you find so many of those sites, cause other people avoid running them too. But to solve that is simple, either expand your area to include some Gal space too, and run their version of that site.. or do missions for a corp in that faction.

Also, you can run the SOE Epic Arc every 3 months to boost standings to the empire of your choice.

IIRC those are part of the caldari epic arc and only appear in that one constellation or region. Go elsewhere.

Exactly, the site will appear in each system within that constellation until that Epic Arc mission is completed.

More than likely multiple players are running that mission so the site will always be active in that constellation. As such, explorers should either ignore the site in the scan results or go elsewhere.

Also there's no Faction standing loss for destroying the NPC's in those sites.

There are several mission-related Cosmic Signatures that spawn in Otitoh that always maintain the same sig IDs, making them easy to ignore. I don't see why CCP can't do the same for the Federal Navy Detention Facility signatures. They are indeed obnoxious.

Do you just scan the same constellation over and over again?

The Okkelen-constellation in The Forge or the Aokinen-constellation in Black Rise have lots of Cosmos mission signatures. Just go somewhere else. And use "Pirate's Little Helper" to save the signature IDs you have already scanned down.
