In another thread, an Eve player asked a valid question. A serially incompetent ISD prevented me from answering in that thread, so I am answering here. The thread was here. The post, by Danika Principe, asked in response to an idea about the Nestor that involved increasing it's cargo capacity, why a battleship should have more cargo capacity than a hauler.

The answer, is that the Nestor could expand its role with such capacity. Giving the Nestor some additional capacity would not convince anyone to use a 1 billion ISK ship as a hauler under normal circumstances, yet would expand the utility of the Nestor.

If anyone has problems with CCP Barstorlode failing to understand his job, please e-mail me. I am submitting tickets and collecting references to get this unprofessional conduct to cease. Checking his history on the forums has revealed a serious systemic problem.
