What are you talking about? That battleship is going to be deployed in the most tactically unsound way possible, and with no strategy whatsoever. Whatever "advanced race" is controlling it, they're going to be morons at actually fighting or accomplishing anything with it.

Its weapons are stupid, and what they (the Sleepers or whoever) do with it will be, too.

Well the mix of latin and greek seems a lot like the naming conventions for organisms- which would make a LOT of sense for the Jovians to use to name their weapons, among other things.

First : Why would it makes that much sense - do we all of a sudden know that much about the Jove language, it's syntax and morphology ?

Second: naming conventions are done in binomial form using *latin grammar forms*, even if they are based on words from other languages (i.e. the word from the other language will have his form "latinized"). It is therefore called a *Latin Name*.
Mix-match is not allowed.
