Group selling - useless?

Greets,

Was trying to sell some stuff on market, and did the "swoop" method to check prices. All hugely under bid, even with the filter set to ignore stupid pricing.

........working as intended? Missing something?

As it is now, just a failed attempt at a much needed feature.

There needs to be a way to ignore market buys (01's etc) in the sell screen.

you get the "buyers" price . I duno which filter youre talking about ?
I love it , if its 1-5% for buy orders i usually sell it , if its way lower i create a sell order manually .

So i like it so far

I don't really understand your post, but are you saying the highest buy orders are too low?

yes.

Say I have a hanger full of T2 ships, I swoop them all and sell. I get 1 mil for manticores, 10 for onyx, etc, because someone has low bid in the buys.

There is no way to "ignore" that order when selling so the price defaults to that. I have to go in and modify ever order, making the whole "mass sell" thing moot.

Thats what im sayin...

Excluding items of basically no value (salvage pieces that aren't the bottleneck for any popular rig, *really bad* meta 1-2 modules that reprocess poorly, etc), I usually find hubs have at least a borderline acceptable buy order for every item almost all of the time.

Of course, if you are relying upon regionwide orders - your laziness funds traders like me.

my default settings are set to highest buyer ....

item A : sell orders 1.5 , buy order 1 . My sell window will show me "1"

So swooping is adding everything to the new sell window and selling together to whatever buy orders are available?

Well, it could be, but not in this case...

I have thousands of things to sell. My corp and I have 1600+ sell orders, we usually sell to 3 months. Swooping and setting 3 month (non-immediate) pulls the cheapest offer out there and loads it into the - "sell at this price" - field. Not the actual price average, or acceptable.

Every 3 months we spend hours and hours putting up market items for sale, and setting (individually) prices. I had hoped this new swoop sell/3 month method would cut down on the clicky time and more time to actually play......

So it sounds like what you are saying is that swooping is adding everything to the new sell window and selling together to whatever buy orders are available.
