So I just bought 750 aurum for the purpose of trading it in-game for isk, as I'm a casual player, and I do NOT have the time to work up the money to do the things I want to do in the game, I thought it would be a good idea. I feel like such a noob (cause I am) but I can't figure out how to actually trade my newly bought aurum on the in-game market.
Help please??

don't you need to buy something with the auram and then sell the item in market?

If you look in the market in the game and search "aurum", it shows 100, 500, and 1000 aurum tokens, that go for MILLIONS, but I can't figure out how to actually put mine on the market

As long as you do not sell in-game ISK for real-life money (or rather, you keep all purchasing within CCP and EVE Online)... you should be fine.

To sell an item on the market...

- right click the item and select "Sell Item"
- set the price (usually at the lowest price you can see) and the amount of time you want to keep it on the market
- select "Ok"

Bear in mind that the odds of you selling that item in a timely fashion increase if you are in a Trade Hub system (Jita, Amarr, Dodixie, or Rens).

AFAIK CCP stopped selling AUR tokens a while back. The tokens on the market are old stock that haven't been sold and redeemed yet. To turn the AUR you bought into isk you'll have to buy something from the New Eden Store and then sell it in game for isk. The reason the tokens on the market are worth so much is because a lot of older players were gifted AUR several years ago and by adding a few tokens to their balance they can buy training certificates and turn a tidy profit.

I know how to sell items on the market, problem is I can't find my physical aurum tokens to click on them to sell them, don't know where in the interface they are

As indicated, you have to go into the NES store (from the character selection screen, or in-game from the menu bar on the left), buy something with the AUR you have, then redeem those items in Jita and put them up for sale.

Looking back I wasn't very clear. CCP doesn't sell aurum as tokens anymore, they used to, but that was changed a while back. Now when you buy aurum it goes into your account balance in the New Eden Store and can only be used to purchase items from the store. It even says on the aurum page that "Aurum can only be used in the New Eden Store and cannot be transferred once bought".

You should have bought Plex for what you wanted to do. No more AUR tokens. Maybe support will let you swap. And what does the EULA have to do with it?

Yeah, looks like you have to buy stuff from the store now.

Some of it is quite valuable. Do not buy it and move it. Go to where you will sell it (Jita, Dodixie, Amarr, Rens) and then buy it. Trust me on this one, I make a a lot of isk from people who don't properly exercise caution when transporting valuable goods.

This. Also be careful what you buy (check the market before you buy) because a lot of the items you can buy with Aurum have very low sell volume and you may be stuck with it a long time before it sells. PLEX is the way to go to convert RL money to isk.

You cant

Those are "gift" items that have NOTHING to do with the NES shop.

ISK > PLEX > AUR

AUR > Item > sell on market > ISK.

There is no direct change over. And as the demand for NES items is LOW, you kind of wasted the money on Aurum.

Next time, buy a PLEX with cash and sell that on market.

I think the OP was possibly concerned that his question could be seen as an attempt to advertise he was looking to sell and posting such outside of the proper forum. Just a guess, though.

There is nothing here against the EULA, move on from the fascination Blink.
