The fact me kiting fleets sounds unlikely to you really says a lot.

Ive had convos from a couple of snufdbox people in the past after their fleet failed to hit my griffin begging me to stop jamming their lokis. Thats an entire snuff box fleet that couldnt hit me, so its a wonder you are surprised i can kite a decent number of squids.

My entire set up is for me to be able to engage outnumbered. For the most part it doesnt matter how many enemies there are. All im limited by is a couple of ship classes that work as hard counters to kiting. Luckily those are not that common.
