Hi,

Old traders have problem when they use all slots of buy and sell orders. We must use many accounts to increase that slots, we don't do that any more, we wanna more trade skills like Mega Tycoon to increase buy/sell order slots.

There are constantly new ships, new items being added to the market and order numbers should change to reflect this. Using multiple characters, while possible, really is just fiddly to the point of soul crushing at times.

Well past time.

Entrepreneur:

Rank 8

Requires: Tycoon V

Further ability to organize and manage ultra large-scale market operations. Each level raises the limit of active orders by 64.

I find "Entrepreneur" a very unsuitable name for that skill. A Tycoon is a "very wealthy and powerful business person", while an Entrepreneur is a "person who starts a business and is willing to risk loss in order to make money", so a lot of steps down from the Tycoon.

How about Magnate?

Magnate sounds very appropriate, I'd also raise the amount of sell orders to 128 per level since 64 would only raise it from ~300 to 500 ish which would still make some people encounter issues. If you can be arsed to train tycoon to 5 you deserve to be able to get 900 orders or so.

'New Eden is my **** Puppet'?

It would go through the CCP Sci-Fi Name Thingy regardless. What matters is the idea and some CSM desperate for votes should totally be all over it.

Why are we making it easier for the old rich & powerful to utterly strangle the markets?
The limit on buy orders helps ensure that new traders have a chance.

Kind of agree to the point where expecting 128/level is slightly absurd.

But have you tried stocking a market with 300 orders? There are some things that are better done with alts and/or in a group but honestly with the everyday logistics involved running a small market somewhere isn't one of them.

Hundreds of items have been added to the market since the current limits were set and with module tiericide warming up it'll no longer be T2 or go home for many mods. The current limit really isn't practical and is only going to become less so.

Name the new skill "Robber Baron".

Failing that, name it "Supercapitalist"

Again, why are you trying to solo stock an entire market?
Make some friends, split the load up between you.

You are asking to be able to solo anything.

The issue is where does it end? Let's say they do make this skill, people will still max out on their orders and we'll be back to square one with yet another skill request further increasing the limit.

This is a very good point. Just as there are no solopwnmobile ships, there should be no solopwnmobile marketeers.

Good idea. It would help counter Alts Online.

Please don't call it mega tycoon though. Call it "magnate"

Why ask for a new skill when the current ones could just looked over and adjusted?

For the same reason JF didn't get their range murdered. People that do horrible, tedious **** to bring pewpewpew to places should get the occasional hug.

Lets be clear, the people you worry will 'utterly strangle the markets' already do. They live in depressing chat channels full of sociopaths and run alt armies in hubs that would make sane people weep.

But for the rest of us that bring help bring joy and explosions to obscure parts of the world?

There are many fine things in this game that are improved with collaboration but relying on a daily basis on a small group of people to have the right things hauled, swop contracts, no get lazy and **** up the market for everyone else by not restocking key items is not one of them. I'm sure massive coalitions with deep pockets manage admirably but that's not the end game for a lot of Eve.

It's a relatively minor change that makes it easier for people to bring joy and tears to interesting places. Anything that makes that less of a considerable ballache surely works for the better, no?

EDIT: Oh aye, and a bump of a couple hundred orders would still in no way allow you to solo stock a market.
