Little things for the UI

I'd like to start off by giving a big thumbs-up to CCP for their work on the UI in the past couple years. A lot of antiquated junk has been streamlined and the monochrome UI released in Rhea (I think?) goes a long way towards modernizing the eve client.

There are a few annoyances to be knocked out though. They've probably gone overlooked thus far since most people just "deal with it", but that's no reason to improve where improvements can be made:

#1 - The sensor overlay around the ship UI: This thing is about the coolest feature I've seen in awhile. The configuration menu, however, is cumbersome. It's a hover menu and I end up accidentally clicking stuff on it all the time when I mean to be clicking in space near the bottom of my screen. This ought to be changed into a right-click menu or lumped into the overview settings window.

#2 - The split stack window: It's a modal window, and I really can't seem to figure out why. Make it a normal dialog box that can be backgrounded if you need to check on something before moving items.

#3 - Downtime notifications: Another annoying modal window (these should probably be removed wherever possible) and it can get in the way of things during fights. Make this is a popup notification like bills, combat log, etc.

#4 - Cyno fields: In the overview, these are in the same category (Celestial/Beacon) as the object used to identify landmarks and the few remaining static DED complexes that remain in the game. Cynosural fields are a vastly different thing than landmarks and really ought to be moved into their own category. This makes watching for cynos just a tad bit easier in systems that otherwise have some sort of static beacon.
Cynos != Landmarks

#5 - The 'Loot all' Button: Very handy, except it'd be nice if it attempted to move items into specialized containers (Ore hold, Ship Maint, etc) before trying to use general-purpose cargo. This may be wishful thinking outside the scope of what's possible right now, but it's food for thought.
(No image for this one, sorry)

#6 - Starbase guns on the overview: Your ship's computer obviously knows what structures are online/anchored/incapacitated. Giving filtering options in the overview allows you to sift through when people spam a zillion dummy guns on a POS.

#7 - The fitting window is massive and un-necessary. An optional streamlined fitting window would be nice for those who run low-res clients and need to de-clutter as much as possible.
