I'm just answering Q's, but partly and gently stirring the pot - that, I cannot hide.

Not only did I leave, I was also contracted by Michael Read nearly Five Years Ago for a project. He has since left for Crytek as producer on Crysis3 and Ryse, which I'm sure we all know the news stories on those two projects from last year. Anything more on this would either break NDA or be woefully out of date with current internals. Last I heard due to Crytek issues, he now works at 2K. He also worked on WoD and Dust514...

I got a lot of respect for the CCP staff, in particular the video editing/cinematic dudes and dudettes, but not Michael...not by a long shot. He is one of few members of staff which CCPGAMES are better without. He's a nice guy to talk with, but he is not someone I respect.

Just my beliefs and impressions, but these - I trust.

not sure what a random, seemingly anyway, tangent has to do with answering said question but meh.

WiS is in hibernation for now. A lot of the CSM issues are actually being addressed and fixed. And more still to come. But meh, your opinion is your opinion.

Two years ago, I quit EVE.

I re-subbed for one month to respond to a few forum posts I had time to read whilst RL had slowed down temporarily for me. My rubbernecking nature gets the better of me sometimes, and there is nothing like watching a horrific car crash like EVE Online unfold, with every twisted piece of metal tumble all around in slow motion.

So, in two years - nothing has changed, in my most humblest of opinions.

I just dropped a 12,000 word document to CCP explaining what issues I have with EVE Online and CCP in specific and general terms, which I won't go into here - but did wish to say hello to the player-base and hope you are all doing well.

Sub ends on the 20th of February, so drop me a line here or on evemail and I'll hit you back.

In the time it took you to write 12000 words about what someone else needs to do, how many times could you have come to to the actually correct conclusion that the problem is you and no one owes you anything?

Oh and thanks for helping us maintain EVE (and game you obviously don't like made by people you obviously don't care for) with your sub money.

I never understand why people play a game and get all butt hurt over things they want or think need to be fixed and whine about it. Some things are a pita, but you have no control over it, so why stress it? Just move on, adjust and play. or go to one of the other 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 or whatever games there are on the market

For example, I have a suggestion out for comet mining, a feature I wanted since it was announced in exodus (yes I'm old) I would poke the devs about it if I got that chance, but tbh its not going to me make me leave cause its not in. Just like I used to hate fueling pos' but oddly I kept doing it. The point is, you are going into someone's place like a hotel and then whining that you don't like the room color. Don't do that.

Now if something ti legitimately broken, like you can't log in, then yes complain up a storm. But past that? naw

I was in a typing mood, so let my fingers carry on.

I don't mind seeming ironic and I hope my one month's worth of cash is spent appropriately for other gamers to enjoy.

Respect for the comment, it was a valid point to make.

Funnily enough, they asked me to JPEG the document because they can't read PDF files. All 7 pages of it.

Handy tip CCP: if you provide a text box on your website for people to fill in with reason why they are leaving, have appropriate space there. If you don't want to do this, be prepared for people to feel they want to email you the reasons in a universally recognised format.

Hello, thank you for returning, you are important in my life and I wish for you to please stay a while.

You see, I still have yet to find this mystery company that releases perfect everything with never a single bug or issue with any feature, and by god I try to find it, I even checked in my kitchen cupboard under the sink and by golly you don't want to try looking in there.

Sometimes when no one is around I look up at a cloud and I try to make it into a shape of a rice pudding so that I can better understand the meaning of life, progress is slow, but I am trying.

Try Nintendo. Their games are near perfection. Blizzard are very high up there, but I have not played wow - but the sub count tells me it's a very well made game. Regardless of what you think about Blizzard, you cannot deny hearthstone, starcraft and Diablo. Rockstar is another, but have been let down by middleware supplying them poor code. Relic is yet another, because CoH, it's predecessors and successors are godlike in the RTS world and I've never encountered a bug with them at all.

I'm lying here in bed trying to think of some more...

I want to say Sega, but something tells me I'd be wrong. Hopefully I'm wrong about being wrong and I haven't put my foot in it.
