Wouldn't it be amazing if you and your buddies could lock down a ship and use a module to force the pod to eject! It would be even more cool if Dust mercs did it for you! It would make pirating alot more interesting since you'll want to take all the ships your trapping instead of blowing them up!

I would really like for this to happen CCP please just make it happen.

Edit: I withdraw my rant, this idea sucks

It would have to be seriously nerfed as high sec would be a disaster, you wouldn't need weps just eject everyone at once, and the petitions...

No no, it would act just like normal aggression so it would be limited to wardecs in high sec, lest ye get concorded LOL.

I imagine it working like a hacking mod, but not a hacking mod, a new mod where you have to cycle to get a success to force the ejection of the pod. Self destruct would then be more viable as there would be a race to see if the guy blows up or gets boarded.

Walk the plank you Egger! YARRR!!

Nope. How do you feel about entire fleets of T1 frigates stealing every ship they come across?

*sigh* Why doese everyone think that EVE is based on "chance" and other random crit type stuff requiring skll when if you look at something as basic as hitpoint bars and reduction of them is dated circa 1999 like EQ1 was. Where is the positional attacks? Where is the asteroid cover? Have you manged to hit just the weapons systems and engineering? Oh right...this isn't those fancy new MMOs where you have to hit three keys, time it right, and Bob is your Uncle at how awesome you are. Its hit the "Auto Attack" Fkey and keep in optimal, nothing hard there.

And I hardly doubt any console jocks would want to wait around for you to bag a ship and let them board it because FPS is all about the "NOW! NOW! NOW! FFS NAO!!!" type action where you don't have to wait and just jump into the action with little consequence from their deaths. Dust is going to fail hard time if it usesthe same real time SP learning, clone updating when you can die several times a minute Oops as we do and if CCP does go easier on groundpounders well I can't see a reason they should not go easier with clone costs/SP loss for the ship jockies because we are all the same paying customers and no one should have preferenctial treatment to have it easier in this cold, harsh universe.

Yeah, sure, let this happen. I'm going to have so many faction battleships...
Great idea.

I am afraid that the most awesome pirate idea ever is having a Parrot on the NeX store which can sit on your shoulder and comments on the fights you are having......

Closely followed by having Kira Knightly sat on my knee while flying around....

that's basically what I was thinking. titans, motherships, pirate BSs, and T3s.
person A in the target, person B in a junk ship, person c in a pod next to the target.
person B kicks person a out of the ship and before their timer is up person c hops in and flies off.
EDIT: or freighters in highsec since person C wouldn't be the person who kicked person a out, they are not flagged so they can hop in and fly off on a whim to loot their spoils later in a station while the dumbass concord nukes the 500k isk ship that did get flagged.

So I decided that whiskey and posting are not a good combo, I'm ashamed that I even posted this.

Anyway, back to the remove local crusade.
