new ORE ship a gain

All righty, here what i came out this morning - T2 Noctis Hull base ORE ship. Interesting ship, with very narrow role.

So taking into the mind a few threads related to Mining Drones "need more love" i think we could expect that love from CCP, in a turms of buffing T2 mining drones along with Mining Drone yield upgrade module. Whisch is obviously nice addition and are very welcomed and expected things in game.

Here the Noctis turned to T2 version of it, with re-designed slots layout ofc, other major stats, and here is most interesting thing - the bonuses.

Mining drone bonuses for sure, along with solid bandwith and drone bay. Maybe we could expect something like Vexor has atm, 10% bonus to Drone damage, hitpoints and ofc yield gain.

The layouts might be turned upside down, 3/4/(8 just to much), lets say 6 low slots with basic 1.46k m3 of cargohold with extenders would give an amazing capacity.

Tanking, dunno really up to you, ASB or MAAR i think shiled tank is more obviuos in this case.

So pretty tanky, could handle at least 1 nado alpha strike could protect itself with heavies or either sentries and still provide significant ammount of ore mined via drones.

Just a thought from my side i'd say nothng serious but still a LOT to think of .

Why is this ship required? What role does it fill? Is it just a suggestion for the sake of having more ships?
What does this ship do that isn't already done better by other ships?

+1 for me, ORE comes from Gallente if I remember correctly, but still not a single of their own ship is about mining drones (skiff only has a bonus for drone damage). Even the vexor have bonus for mining drones, but not any single ORE ship ? That doesn't make sense to me.
Since all the ORE ship are shield tanked, I suggest a shield tank for this one too, and +1 too for re-using the Noctis hull, I'm not against a ship with a mobility even worse than the covetur/hulk too.

Where did you see the OP talking about stealth ? I'm against cloack or No-dscan if that's proposed.

+1 on this- I like the suggestion.

Also, I've noticed lately that more and more of the "toxic ripdown"-type posters are around lately- they usually provide a good counter for things and make room for improvement, but lately a lot of them just seem to be turning into jackholes Roll

But again, I think this is an idea that holds merit- improving on it could lead to a good ship idea.

Idea is pretty clear - specialized mining drone ship.

Noctis hull as a platform.

Only two things are missing mining drone yield upgrade module and ship itself.

yes and maybe we could improve on it if we would all kindly use one already open thread rather than everyone posting their variation in new threads

I think it would make better sense to give the Covetor and Hulk mining drone bonuses than to create yet another mining ship. Giving the Hulk and Covetor mining drone bonuses would certainly make sense to continue topping them off as the king of their mining classes.

Drone wise, I would not mind seeing an ice mining drone. It would be of medium drone size using 25 bandwidth. Yield is one block per cycle and any tech II variant would result in an decrease in mining cycle.

Cloaking is the closest thing to a "Pause Game" button one can get while in space.

Support better localization for the Japanese Community.

Its not redundant. He was just saying how new ORE ships are constantly proposed however the idea seems original and interesting
