So I got the gift package for Christmas, thanks CCP! But what exactly do you do with this stuff? Is it just to sell? Can you actually wear the outfit (if so how do you do that? ) or read the books (again how would you do it?) ? If not then why would anyone but them if they are just useless stuff?

Most of the gifts this year were useless mementos.
I sold everything I could and trashed the rest.

They're primarily memorabilia. Some people enjoy them, some people find them to be trash. You can toss them into a container in your hangar if they're cluttering things up but you aren't yet sure you want to get rid of them.

The items all relate to stories within Eve.

Eve has 2 histories, the lore one which is nice especially for the role players. The real history though is the one the players create and its that history that most of the items represent.

If you are not bothered about that sort of thing then do as Sir Livingston and sell or trash. Personally I keep those sort of items as memorabilia that can be shared with new generations of players.

The only 'useful' stuff;

The male and female jacket.
The festival launchers.
The fireworks charges.

The rest is "lore" stuff.

right so how does one "use" the jacket? I have tried a few things but have not been able to figure out how you transfer it to your style page to select.

I think you need to go into captain’s quarters and use the mirror. Honestly it's been a while. There use to be a station services tab for this.

PS- If you don't want your gifts hold on to them for a while as they tend to only increase in value. Although given the number of them in circulation they aren't going to be worth much. The fire

Just go to the right side of the screen when youre docked in a station, and change your appearance. If your jacket is in your inventory inside the station, then you can just switch your look to the jacket.

Youll be taken to the same screen you were at when you first created your character. You just have to go through the assortment of clothes and fiind the jacket, it should automatically be there.
