I know a few. Ezwal and Lack of faith spring to mind but I don't know most of them

Hiya! Maybe I can help.

ISD as a whole refers to the Interstellar Services Department, or as may be more descriptive, "community volunteers". We are a group of players who dedicate some of our free time to helping CCP manage Eve and its community. ISD is managed by (and are part of) the CCP Community Team. Note that we are very explicitly not employees, and while we operate under NDA, most/all of us have no idea or say in development.

ISD is split into a bunch of "divisions" with different tasks. You can read about them here: https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/ISD

I assume you were asking about the ISD you most commonly see around the forums, since you mentioned Ezwal and myself. We are part of CCL, or Community Communications Liaisons. We can more descriptively be referred to as "forum moderators", though we try to also fill a "liaison" role, where we serve as semi-official mouthpieces/guides, while also trying to keep CCP informed of things going on. That's because if we're involved in a discussion, that sort of automatically nullifies our status as "impartial", unless all we're doing is posting references to facts or information sources. Moderating a discussion we're involved in (either on our CCL characters or our main characters at that) is a good way to get in trouble for moderation bias.

All ISD all volunteers. We have mains that play on TQ normally, and are normal players just like everyone else. Our ISD characters are on a different account made just for the purpose of being in ISD.
