Incompatibility after every update

It seems after the servers go down at 11 my build is incompatible, and i need to re-download it. Is this a normal thing, i would have thought it would auto update?

Laucher should auto-update to latest patch.

If you are bypassing the launcher with the exefile.exe:

Yes, you manually have to make sure the latest patch is applied.



As we are just a day behind the latest patch, it is normal

On the 13th they released Proteus patch, which means a new build.

Then likely (havent' logged in today) they did a 1.1 patch of Proteus to fix any issues that surfaced with the release of Proteus.

AFter a couple of days, it would become stable that you won't see new releases until the next update in the end of February.

Anytime there is an update your build will be incompatible.

With the Proteus update having launched on January 13th that would mean your client would require a new build, and today they updated Proteus so that again would have required a new build on your client.

The game client will not automatically download and install new builds. What you should do is re-launch the client after every down time to ensure it then downloads and installs any new builds.

Given your character's conception date and assuming you're not an alt you would have seen the need for this pretty much every day.

Normally there isn't new builds, but they can occur from time to time. With any update and for several days afterwards you can expect to see them.

Im on a mac and I'm finding the launcher doesn't work, so I'm bypassing it. I guess that means that ill need to download it every time :/

Nope

Go to yoru installation folder and run Repair.exe

It fixes the client.
