Sooo they will re-enforce POS and if no stront in will kill it. I love this.

Sooo what if like i join this hisec NO friendly-fire hisec bear corp that has a POS. I shoot at circadian sleeper in belt, they follow you around now so i go to my new bear corps POS and since im a leet pvper my new bearcorp gives me pos-gun role. I shoot sleeper i made come from belt with POS gun.........

Someone on reddit already tested it.

Not only can they do basically no damage to a pos in the first place, but you can use pos guns to farm them.

They are an extremely trivial threat.

Well id obviously not actually keep shooting wit pos guns. Just draw aggro and what if i keep flying around system and getting more and bringing the new ones back and keep massing them up. Beats a normal POS bash and sure they will have dps buffed. They have been buffed each patch so far

That should get rid of offline high-sec POS towers. Maybe Sleepers will start cleaning up wormholes, too?

If you find a way to make an offline POS attack Seekers, let me know.

There is one spawn, a second spawn will appear as reinforcements, you can't pull unlimited numbers. Somehow I doubt that 7-10 Seekers will be able to shoot down a small POS between downtimes... but... maybe I'll give it a try.

Put guns on your sov structures. Use guns to shoot Seekers.
Can't fit guns on sov structures? Can't make Seekers attack them!

Maybe Tiamat will change this, but for Proteus there is no way to make it happen.

Cant post km but if you look up corp Breaking-point they lost a lowsec small amarr tower. Seekers did over 5mill of damage over 40%

For now. We'll have to wait and see what happens. I think it should be pretty clear that they will not remain a trivial threat forever.

I've been experimenting on sleepers in K space.

They don't agro switch very well. So you would indeed have to be in the corp and use POS guns on them.


Presently, sleepers do escalate. You can be dealing with 2 of them and have 4 more show up. And sleepers have "gotten better" too. Sleepers will also respond to what you are using on them. Use a web drone? They'll orbit you at 5KM. Use onboard web? They'll get just outside of range. This is likely the most advanced AI we've seen. Heck they are even smarter than gate campers.

So while it might take a very long time for sleepers to bash a POS, you never know what the next patch will have.
