As per the title, was just wondering who the eve ‘in game’ parties were that would have access to my API information if I was to put my spai/developing spai accounts into the same version of the program as my mains or on different devices from the same IP address?

You want to know who in game runs these apps so you know who has access to your api?

I'd say the probability that the major null power blocks have access to those keys is pretty high. If you just have enough money (isk in this case) you can bribe almost everyone.

It's pretty funny actually how little some people think about things like that.
E.g. for wormhole space there is that mapping tool called tripwire... It's completely free(even though the only alternative costs a monthly fee) and run by some dude in an NPC corp.
If that doesn't ring your alarm bells I don't know what else would, yet quite a lot of corporations use that tool.

I have reason to believe that Chribba is the one actually control of all the third party API data and he is actually skynet.

If you're making spy alts, make an API alt. Use that alt to pretend-fit and pretend-train the skills that you want the spies to have.

EFT doesn't actually require API, you can create a blank profile and manually add skills to it, so really you can check out ship fittings completely offline / with no API needed.

I think EVEMON requires API, but honestly I've stopped using EVEMON when CCP allowed the training queue to be longer than 24 hrs.; you can queue up 3 months of skills and just set a calendar reminder to yourself to log back in in 3 months. And attribute remapping to match the skills should be obvious enough; there are only a few useful combos, really: int/per, int/mem, per/wil, and spy (unmapped so you look like a newbie and can ask for help with them).

Yeah Ive always wondered if such programs would possibly turn into data mining sites but I still use them. Like real life its a fine line between personal privacy and functionality/usability.
