Looking for serpentis ratting ship

So I have medium to low combat skills, and at the moomment I got a 550dps VNI. In some months I will get a 800dps tengu that can tank the rats.... until then Im looking for a ship that has over 600dps and ideally doesnt need to speedtanj...I hate it. No caps and t2 please.

PThanks... after some testing with eft Im not sure if tengu or rattlesnake are better... anyone who can answer this?

Totally different ships.

Rattlesnake is for level IV missions and when passive tanked can feasibly even solo a 5 with high skills. A Rattle will blitz level IV missions very quickly.

Tengu is for Anoms, lowsec, WHs all the places you cannot take a battleship.

Why are you ruling out T2 but considering T3 and Pirate BS options ?

I don't think the fellow knows what he wants quite honestly. Tengu or Rattlesnake??? But no T2????

I think he just wants an option that doesn't require the train time of t2. Honestly a VNI is fine for serpentis, you just have to get decent support skills to supplement it.

Well... the skilltime for Hacs is about 2 minths for me, and Pirate BS dont rewuire skills, Tengu Im getting anyways for fleets.

at the same time it seems you are going for a tengu so I guess it would be useful to know your skills, to recommend ships you can fly now, or with a little training that wouldn't put you too far off your goal. Anyways almost any battleship will do 600+ dps.
