Best and most serious role play alliance in Eve?

Which alliance is the best if people want to role play as being real Space Ship pilots, with ranks etc, such as cadet, and having to address the fleet commanders as Admiral, etc?

I keep watching videos of how fleets are lead and it is horrible. People use foul language on fleets, don't know what is going on half the time and you got people of no importance that keep jumping into the mic asking ridiculous questions.

For example:

Some fleet member wants to ask a question:

Scout: "Admiral, permission to report, sir?"
Admiral:"Go ahead"
Scout: "Admiral, forward marine force recon scout reporting twelve war targets in the system, request new orders, sir"
Admiral: "Roger, proceed to next system and report"
Scout: "Sir, aye aye, sir"

The above was just an example of typical day to day US Navy/Marines comm talk, but is there an alliance that applies this?

I seriously hope not or I would laugh at them 24/7. Too busy "roleplaying" to be good at the game so would still lead to s*** fleets.

If there really is a serious RP group out there who does that, they would probably reject you for your name as well as illegal and excessive body modification...

A scout reporting to an admiral. That's rich. Then, asking for "new orders...sir." Hilarious. What navy was this, your "imaginary navy"? Need I say, admirals don't talk to the hired help?

Oh, yes. Your question. It's difficult to believe an EVE player would seriously ask about role playing. Roll

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

There's numerous serious RP alliances out there, just take a look around IGS forum, easy to spot.

Many are involved in Faction Wars, kinda understandably.

Even though I'm a heavy RP'er I've never been in a roleplay corp, but from those I speak to who're involved in the larger pvp-orientated ones nobody's like that on comms. It's pretty standard fleet comms and even most RP corps have their designated areas/channels within the corp for the RP aspect.

Might be some more extreme RP corps/alliances out there, but I haven't come across them yet.

Ill never get roleplaying in a game designed for you to just roleplay yourself from the get-go.

Besides that, never understood people who try to roleplay "good guys" and "naval officers", when generally roleplaying cares about lore and if lore is to believed even capusleers "aligned" with the empires are selfish psychopathic whackjobs with access to apocalyptic levels of money and weaponry

*edit* (who's bright idea was it to create capsuleers again? Jovians, you say? Theyre almost extinct, you say? Well no **** if this is what they call a "good idea")

of course if their goal was to create a destabilizing factor to keep the empires from growing powerful enough to threaten Jovian control, with CONCORD existing to prevent total capsuleer dominance, thats like aliens choosing to land in America instead of Europe " Hey! Blb'yshi'ta! See these two locations on Earth? One with nice reasonable people, and the other full of gun-toting xenophobic whackos sending military forces all over the world? Lets land in the dangerous one!"

Roleplaying is done mostly on specific channels/maling lists/IGS... people don't really talk IC when PvPing(or maby there is this 0.0000001% that does it)

Capsuleer military forces aren't really directly comparable to any actual real world military. Well, maybe feudal kingdoms...

The closest you'll probably get is a corp/alliance that can actually shut the **** up when someone in charge is talking.

Scout: "...request new orders, sir"

Haven't you heard scout? There is already a New Order.

Unlikely that you'll find anyone who sticks to IC while in voice comms. There are a number of groups that use IC channels and speak IC in local and may stick to IC for text fleet chat. Often (from my experience) a decent RP corp will have much better behavior on voice comms as well. As someone else mentioned however, with a name like yours you might find difficulty in being taken seriously by rp'ers. If you wish to rp as an Amarr and have character name that doesn't sound like something a 14 yr old came up with while giggling feel free to contact me in-game and I'll happily help point you in the direction of some respectable corps

So that's why my RP toon xX420Luvs2SpoogeXx is having trouble getting into a corp.

That's one useless scout. I guess that's what happens when you want comms to be full of 'flavour text' rather than useful content.

This is what would happen.

Scout: "Admiral Cawk Onforhead, permission to report, sir?"
Admiral:"Go ahead, cadet Too Much pr0n."
Scout: "Admiral Cawk Onforhead, forward marine force recon scout reporting twelve war targets in the system, request new orders, sir."
Admiral: "Roger, proceed to next system and report, cadet Too Much pr0n."
Scout: "Sir, aye aye, sir."
