I know I know, this has been proposed 1000 times already, but I believe the best way to achieve change is to nag the ever-living crap out of whoever is responsible, so here goes:

CCP please implement unlearning of skills. I do not care for getting the SP refunded or the time it takes, but I can't sleep easy until my combat chars have unlearned Mining and my industry chars have unlearned Astrometrics and Gunnery. Please, please, pretty please make it so!

Second, why? How will this help the community as a whole?

and third, yah...been suggest like a 1000 times, so I expect this topic to be locked soon.

Especially now that it does not bloat your clone grade with SP you might think you don't want.

With CCP's recent movement away from SP loss (no more medical clones, D3s not causing skill loss), I think the likelihood of CCP implementing some form of limited, periodic skill point remapping is increasing.

EDIT: For context, I still think that the likelihood is very low, only that it is increasing.

The thing is I personally want 2 skills gone from my sheet. They are not ones I injected myself, just ones that came with the character upon creation. I do not want the SP back and I would even spend the time reverse training them out.

Why? Well I have a degree of OCD and wish my sheet to be of a certain type. That mining and industry skill annoys me every time I see them.

But I know this isn't needed and at the same time I do not agree with remapping SP. I would only agree with skill/sp removal. Big smile

You made the choice, you and your OCD can live with it.

Personal Responsibility. Familiarize thyself with this concept.

On a long enough timeline, the life expectancy of everyone drops to zero.

What choice? Other than, you know, create a character?
