Backing up the Quickbar

A lot of what I searched online was a bit dated, so I want to make sure I'm getting this right.

In order to back up the Quickbar, I'd want to back up these files:

C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_(x86)_ccp_eve_tranquility\settings

There are a few small files in this pathway, but specifically it's the file called:

core_user_1234567.dat (where "1234567" is your unique account number)

Is this still the case?

Also, I think CCP should confirm whether or not you really want to reset your quickbar. I clicked that button by accident, and poof. Everything gone without even asking if I was sure. Fortunately I've been backing up my quickbar, but I was copying the entire folder structure under User/AppData until I searched around and found a 2 year old guide that points to just a single file.

That should work, but I'd also backup the core_char_12345678 file(s).

Also, this might be of interest to you (sharing your settings accross multiple chars).
