FFA Empire war -- who wins?

Discounting the Jovians since, outside a few exceptions, players cannot fly their ships, let's say a hypothetical free-for-all breaks out between the 4 Empires of EVE (maybe as a 'we're closing EVE down' finale presented by CCP [heaven forbid]). And let's say that players are assigned to those Empires, not based on theoretical corp association, but on the racial affiliation of the ship they fly most frequently.

Who wins?

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess Gallente, simply due to the sheer number of people I see hauling stuff in Federation boats (which, surely for a number of players, would count as their 'most flown' vessel, pushing them into the Gallente camp), thus giving them a numbers advantage.

... but is it possible that another race comes from out of nowhere and overcomes numbers to win just based on combat utility?

Bigtime.

The Holy Empress will adorn her vessel with the spiked heads of her enemies. The wailing of the doomed will echo throughout the universe. Holy fire will purge the heretic and the apostate alike. The stars themselves with burn red with the blood spilled in her name.

TL;DR: Amarr Victor.

cynoibises and jita market alts probably mean more caldari characters are made

but we all know it will turn into rping and look what happened with the amarr confessor...

On the other hand, it also depends on how much isk the empires can put on the field

Amarr cos Archon or Gallente cos Ishtar/nyx.

If the fight takes place in empire space then all of the above ships are super OP because no bombs.

It's Ishtars vs Tengus, and because Caldari has the biggest blob, they win.

Discounting players, does any one Empire have a baseline advantage going in?

If CCP ever does that it should have a cinematic intro with "War...war never changes..."

Gallente. Bwaaaa haaaa haaaa. Oh geez. Gallente.
Sheer numbers? The crackers have everyone else swamped.

If you count ISK in the balance, it would most likely be again caldari. Money is what the state is about.

I will go with caldari for another reasons. They are the one who had the balls to DD a CONCORD ship.
