I've had an odd bug happening for quite a while now. When I mouse over the skills required box (the one that turns red or green depending on whether or not the character selected has the skills required) as well as the question mark box that displays the bonuses of the current ship I just get blank boxes. No text whatsoever... any ideas?

Still getting this after updating to Proteus.

Not today spaghetti.

Sounds like copyright infringement to me. Redistributing software without the authors permission, but I could be wrong.

more than likely but I want new people in corps I'm part of to have eft so they can try fitting and learning on there own but as long as one of the links is always shady (only ever seams to be one link the other is alright) I will keep doing it this way.

They aren't shady, it just takes a bit of time for the DL to start. If you can't have the courtesy to have the maker of the program make a bit of cash off of it, without any cost to you, then perhaps you're actually an ahole.

Huh. I was going to more or less say this. But with MUCH more colorful language.

Has anyone reported a bug with capacitor boosters? Removing charges causes an error and corrupts the fitting. It has happened in the past few versions including the Proteus update.

Hi,

I fitted some large cap bateries ll to a bs and then put neut effects on the ship. It seems that the -12.5% neut moddifier is not calculated in the amount of cap that beeing neuted.

To illustate my point:
-43,6 cap no battery http://gyazo.com/48cc00aa586e88e157eb3bd8fe6516f2
-43,6 cap with a ton of batteries http://gyazo.com/8ac0b1210d098938da07405fa153e968

I have a feature request/suggestion for the future. With module tiericide in progress, the number of modules are being cut down, so this is probably more feasible than it was.

Could we get a right-click menu option for replacing the selected module with something from the same market group. For example, if I could be changing around an Exequror Navy Issue fit that already has Heavy Ion Blaster IIs, I select all five guns, right-click > medium blasters > Heavy Neutron Blaster IIs and it changes all of the ones selected. If I want to see how much DPS it gets with meta neutron blasters afterward, I select them, right-click > medium blasters > and select the meta blasters. If I want to change the T1 rigs that are currently fitted to T2, I can right click them and change them that way.

It's just a convenience thing, and there are probably too many modules right now to really make this work, but maybe down the line once module tiericide is further along.

Thank you so much for the work on EFT. Its been a god send.

One thing that keeps coming up is the skill needs to use rigs. Since CCP took out the need to have the skills to put in and use rigs it still marks it as red for usability if you do not have L4 for the T2 rigs now. Is it possible for it to be changed in EFT? Just makes it confusing for fitting things on different characters. Thanx.

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.

Working hard does not make you immune to criticism. On the things I work hard on, I want to know when something isn't as good as it could be. Some day when you're a productive adult you'll understand. Or maybe not.

I ran my own company and sold it a few years ago, so yeah. Nice try.

He's obviously doing it to monetize the downloads and one can be fairly sure that if there was a better solution for it in his situation, he'd use it. Good luck with your understanding.

entitled much? it's a program that he develops on his own time. If you want one so bad and so quick, why don't you make one and share it with everyone and update it instantly?

Let me spell it out for you:

"This guy" has been updating this stuff for the better part of a decade, tons of work for no payment other than whines, and has made it abundantly clear that he uses the DL sites he uses for a reason, whatever they may be. He doesn't like people messing with his program as shown by how he puts in effort to change the whole code every time as to avoid others toying with the stats (however useful those were).

Any sane person in his position would probably be this close to stop bothering and dropping the whole project. Many folks are very grateful for his efforts and will readily agree to some slightly subpar DL sites if that's what makes him happy and continue to update. I don't give a fck why he chose those sites, perhaps he's a furry and that website pays in fox tails. It's none of my, or your, business and if you don't like it you can always choose to not download it, you're not a paying customer.

Apart from all that: "lol, this guy is doing it wrong" isn't exactly the type of criticism that would result in anything positive to begin with.
