And whats with local weapon sounds not scaling?

noticed lately that no matter how far I zoom out, one particular weapon sound does not reduce in volume (all I can tell you is its not ACs, I don't know the other sounds by heart yet)

it should be pretty simple for the DEVs to figure it out though

but one weapon firing sound effect does not scale, and possibly an explosive hit sound effect (missile hit?)

it don't fully matter but it helps to be able to zoom out and be able to hear fleet coms or not cause the wife to want to kill me over the volume Roll

I've never gotten the whole "EVE has sound?" thing anyway, I've always had sound switched on.
