Tech 1 pvp frigate fits?

depends on the situation as you mentioned.

Solo frig pvp in fw space, a lot of people are AB fit since there are gates to force people to land on top of you.

If you're both ab/scram fit then it takes a hell of a lot of manual piloting, ammo switching and attempted slingshotting to regain range control and damage application.

I can guarantee u that if you 1vs1 an experienced pilot and you just hit orbit 500 and turn your **** on, you will lose.

Two easy setup for a new gallente player, and if you fly whit friends you should be ok if you keep your ship outside of scrambler and webifier range.

Atron, keep at 9.5km range or orbite at 8.5km whit ab. Mwd for initial tackle. Salvager for t2 wrecks! Use blaster when you more experienced whit dictation range and slingshot tactics.

And then we have the Merlin just a rank 1 skill away! Hands down better then both atron and incursus. Slighlyt lesa gility then kite atron, lesser "tank" then incursus but it has that dmg outpot that any of the other frigates can ever get!

Merlin, Extended brawler fitt, swap extender for a medium aux boooster. And use thorium/lead ammo vs kite Atrons.

There is about 10 more fits to get from these ships but i would like to think its a good start. Dont mind the buggers complaining about ecm drones in local. Its a part of the game and remember. Its your sandbox to play in, not theirs!

For group cheap PVP I like to use Maulus.
Lows: speed and cap, Overdrive Injector System + Power Diagnostic System mix
Mid: MWD and ECM, 1MN Microwarpdrive + Sensor Dampeners (range script)
High: drones, Drone Link Augmentor
Rigs: lock range, Small Ionic Field Projector
Stay away from trouble and dampen the frack out of them.

It's a rather tight fit (158/162.5 CPU at all V) so may require a CPU implant with lesser skills. I put the power relay there because I couldn't find anything I wanted there otherwise (maybe an Overdrive for more speed?) and it makes the fit cap-stable for longer brawls.

General strategy is to kite your opponent and pulse the disruptor's overheat if you overshoot. Orbit at ~16km and use the web defensively if they try to slingshot you with a scram. If you do get caught you're dead, so it's an unforgiving fit but it'll force you to learn self-awareness while in combat. I prefer a tracking rig to help the rails snipe drones (antimatter won't hit hard beyond 12km), but can be adjusted for personal taste.
