Expansion/patch updated and installed fine. Closed the launcher and reload...went to log in and got this:

Connection Failed
Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong.

Server: Tranquility
Unable to connect to 87.237.38.200 on port 26000

So I closed that launcher...and launched sisi....which I was able to log in without a problem. Rebooted and tried launching eve directly, in safe mode, and ran repair....and still getting the same connection failed message. Tried logging onto a different account, and same thing.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Tracing route to srv200-g.ccp.cc [87.237.38.200]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 1 ms <1 ms <1 ms Vlan217.css-dual-r1.net.umd.edu [129.2.255.28]
2 * * * Request timed out.
3 * * * Request timed out.

Eve was connecting fine to Traq before the patch/expansion. Im going to be pissed if I cant play this week while Im off work.

I turned off my BitDefender anti-virus and firewall....and connection was made successfully. Not sure why all of a sudden its blocking eve. Anyone else having similiar trouble you might want to look at firewall setting.

HELP !

This was a network issue but should now be resolved. If you are still encountering this issue then please try the following.

1. Delete the Launcher folder which can be found in your EVE Online client folder.
2. Download the launcher installer from the following URL:

http://cdn1.eveonline.com/EveOnlineLauncher/release/EVEOnlineLauncher_2_2_859950.exe

3. Once downloaded please run the .exe file and direct the launcher to your client installation when prompted.
4. Once the launcher installation is complete please start the launcher.

Did this, and it seems to not solve anything. It still comes up in "offline mode" periodically even launching directly from \launcher\launcher.exe. I can connect to other websites so it's not my internet being down, but I have had problems connecting to these forums to post this, and had to reload eveonline.com a few for it to come up.

EDIT: Seems to be alright now. Still strange, but the launcher is fine loading from eve.exe or launcher .exe now.

I am also having this problem.

I'm on a Mac OSX installation.

Sometimes I can get on, sometimes I can't.

The launcher ALWAYS connects and logs me in successfully. I click the "Play" Button, and then the actual in game client gives me the message

"Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong."

Even though the launcher is logged in, showing TQ online etc. Sometimes I get online, then I just get disconnected for no reason and cannot log in again. All other services on my machine stay up (Teamspeak, web browsing etc etc)

Not sure if this is relevant but when I do traceroutes I get the following:

Carls-Air:~$ traceroute 87.237.38.200
traceroute to 87.237.38.200 (87.237.38.200), 64 hops max, 52 byte packets

As you can see, one gets there, one does not. These were done a few moments apart. This behaviour is random, and as you can see is nowhere near my machine. Is srv200 one of your nodes CCP? (I suspect it is, as CCP is in the hostname haha)

Please check it for flapping routes and errors.

**EDIT** I actually misdiagnosed that, I suspect the problem could actually be with ldn-s2-rou-1101.uk.eurorings.net - as it seems to be intermittently passing traffic to the correct CCP IP, and another random IP. Is this one of yours? I'll do some searching.
