Forgive me if there is already a thread about this...

When I created my characters i had the full intention of continuously training them up without any stops or breaks.

Unfortunately due to issues that RL often throws at us (Jobs / unemployment / illnesses / children / wives etc.) it is not always possible and so it got me thinking...

If i needed to take a break from the game why cant i buy back my skill points that i would have earned if i had continued paying and training.

For instance if i needed to take a 6 month break due to unemployment and lets just say for ease of calculating that i usually earn 1000 SP per month.

If i was to pay 6 month subscription fee back to CCP (Around 60 pounds) i then get the 6000 SP back to use.

Any thoughts...?

Yes there have been threads about this. No you're not forgiven for not at least trying to find them, they come up pretty frequently.

My thoughts are pretty much the same as they have always been about any kind of buying skill points directly - not just no, but HELL NO.

Not now and not ever.

You may want to look into the new "infinite" skill queue. It will help you avoid SP losses over short breaks in the future.

As to directly buying SP, sorry, but no. When you pay for your subscription, you are paying for game time. One of the things you can do with that game time is train skills. CCP doesn't owe you any skill points that you failed to train any more than they owe you any ISK, loot, or standings that you missed out on by failing to do missions.
