Hi,

Our DB specialists CCP DeNormalized and CCP Creber Cattus worked on a small side project to make it possible for you to copy skills from TQ to Singularity. This is mostly for those, who are not using Singularity as often but want to use their current skills.
I have hooked this up to a modified version of the moveme bot for now, so that you can test it out. We are not really sure yet if we include this permanently into the moveme bot or if we find a different solution.

For using this prototype please join the channel "CopySkills" on Singularity.

Details: This copies skills from a nightly snapshot of Tranquility to Singularity. Only fully trained skill levels are copied, and only if the skill was completed and the character logged in before the snapshot was taken. The script should NOT be reducing skill levels, which were trained on Singularity - but we are not promising that this works in all cases. Your mass test SP should also be safe.
The script is only working, when CCP Habakuk3 is in the channel "CopySkills" and it will disabled in the night from ~1:00 to ~3:00.

Usage: Write following into the channel: CopySkillsFromTQ

Disclaimer: This is only a prototype and we might remove it again at any time if it causes any problems. Please do not spam the command for the case that it causes errors or high server load (it shouldn't, but who knows).

Please give feedback in this forum thread, both if it works not as intended or if you have any suggestions.

---
Update:
We managed to implement this in the same was as the new /moveme command is implemented. This means that commands no longer relies on a dev being online.

New usage: Write following into any chat channel: /copyskills
This command will tell you if it managed to copy any skills. There is currently a known issue, that it might report one skill as being copied, when nothing changed at all.

But how will it work with the Free skill points we have put into skills on Sisi? will we be able to re-locate them after copying our skills?

Script worked and worked for others while lurking in the channel but because of long skill queue nothing seemed to change.
How hard would it be to compare skills and say how many you updated and how much skill points where reallocated or reset.

If i dont know something about EVE. I check https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/ISK_The_Guide

See you around the universe.

Free skill points, which you spent on skills, will stay spent.

I have spent my free skill points in the Ore Freighter skill (have it to lvl 5 on sisi), so if i copy my skills i will have no Ore freighter skill and no new free skill points?

anything you have on SISI will not change, you will only be granted skills you have on TQ that are not currently on SISI (or so the plan goes)

Thanks! I am a regularly irregular user of SiSi and have often wanted such a feature. I don't spend enough time there to update my skills properly and (of course) always want to test recently completed skills.

Rockin'! Thanks for making it so much easier for us to help you!

Would/could this same script update Sisi for recently (re)subscribed toons?

Did not test yet, but i'm sure i will! Great feature. It really will improve player experience regarding testing their fits/strategies, and i sure hope it will bring more people to SiSi!

While this is awesome, any chance of a tool to pull new chars? or a fresh mirror.

I simply don't exist on sisi.

I really want to exist.

You guys in the Test Server end of things deserve a bloody kiss.

Said with an entirely straight face too.

Can you please do away with the script and channel and just give everyone 200 million redistributable skill points.

Make every ones life easier and actually let people test things?

P.S. have every mod in the game available on market too! (hard to test when you cant use the mods)
