So when will CCP finally do somethin on the bumping topic. Hi-sec is full of bumping macharielz nowadays and no one can do anythin about it. Or maybe we should just use our extra saved dollars and buy ourselves another account with web alt? - which is the perfect option for CCP now when they struggle to survive on the mmo market.

I vote myself on the third option. Let's force All EVE players to mantain 30 accounts to be able to play using just one. More money = > all the problems solved. Maybe after then CCP will finally do somethin on the topics discussed for well over 4 years now. It seems they need to see the cash first.

CCP should certainly stop people bumping this thread.

Looks like Sabriz.

You could try the following:

File a petition stating you intend to start bumping back. You are filing this petition because you are not looking to "grief" a player, but to defend a corpmate.
Then find a bumping Mach and bump him into the sun.

Half of them can't be bothered to actually be at the keyboard while they're "playing", what makes you think they'd bother to see if the GMs have already made a decision on bumping?

CCP: We want new players to stick around
Me: Does this mean I can't hammer noobs out of belts with the bump stabber?
CCP: No, that's emergent gameplay
Me: Are you sure, this seems to add nothing to the game AND it exploits your terrible collision mechanics
CCP: See, that sounds like hard work to fix
Me: Ahhhh, I get it you want more players but you don't want to have to work with your crappy legacy code.

Recruitment Officer: What type of a pilot are you? Me: I've been described as a Ray Charles with Parkinsons and a drinking problem.

Wow, that was pretty poor insight on your part, considering that the Code is still a hot topic of discussion and a motivator of conflict and destruction, over two years on.

It's very simple. While bumping seems to be a way to purposely annoy other players specifically with the intention of preventing them being able to play and makign them angry about that fact, it's been declared not griefing and allowed.

If you dislike bumping being allowed, the choices really are put up with it or find another game. Both are perfectly valid options.

There is also the third and best option of getting out of Highsec. Bumping is irrelevant where shooting is also an option.

Seriously people, Highsec is bad, especially for newbies. Get out of there and your life will improve greatly.

Holy deja vu Batman. I could have SWORN there was a thread addressing this EXACT issue in C&P.
I could be mistaken.
But I'm not.
Ezwal is awake, so hopefully in before lock.

That's in the category of "put up with it", as in put up with it being allowed. It's obviously a mechanic that is primarily used to grief noobs, and realistically needs to be looked at, but decisions have already been made so it's unlikely to change.

Then again, input broadcasting was allowed in a forum thread too, and now that's gone. Perhaps bumping isn't as safe as some like to think.
