Hey. I just got into the Purifier, although it is not very high dps. Using the t1 launchers with the caldari navy mjolnhr torpedoes. How many of them do I need into my cargo so I can fill my weaposn when they run out of ammo? And yeah, so I can have some space for the other things which I may claim when I kill someone ( if I do :D )? Thanks for any answers.

Can we have a look at your fit?

When you're in the fitting screen look at the bottom right, you can save it and then export it to your clipboard and paste it here.

Other than that , what dps are you getting on it ?

Also this might be of interest.

Yeah, in like an hour I will post it so you can review it. IT is a solo WH fit mostly used by a lot of players. Although they are getting more dps than me due to the skills being trained on higher level. I just fully trained and started training one like 30 days ago. Having around 220 which is really low, indeed, but I can give it a try with another friend of mine.

Stealth Bombers don't far super well against cruisers and less so than lower ships. Given that T3s are a MAJOR role in WH space now, you should make sure you don't 'accidentally' pick a fight you can't win.

Thanks. As I mentioned, I will be rolling with a friend of mine who's mostly playing stealth bombers and got some clue about them. Otherwise I will be killed probably before I even find the WH itself

Righ click > Show info on your launcher....there you go. it tells you exactly what the ammo capacity is.

Or you just preload a full load...and you can just see from your fitting screen how many there are.

What is it with people these days to go type a thread, while a simple in game action would have been faster.

I fly a Nemesis with 3 T-1 launchers which holds 18 torpedos when fully loaded. I usually carry around 100 extra torps and have plenty of cargo hold remaining. If you are in a fight that lasts long enough for you to reload 5 times and you don't die first I will be amazed.

Thanks. This is pretty much what I wanted to know. I'm carrying 1000 torpedoes now and you made my life much easier by answering a simple question unlike J'Poll ( no offence bud ). I will be showing you the fit tomorrow. Trained covert ops to another level and got 30 DPS above what I used to have.

About half of that would be just fine (and still overkill). You'll probably never make it through more than a few reloads without either dying or having easy access to replenish.

Wormholes are a great place for stalking in a stealth bomber; I used to do quite a bit of it in a Nemesis. Don't worry about your low dps - it doesn't matter. Your best targets are the "soft" targets - industrials, mining barges, ratting ships etc. They won't be able to kill you (either because they don't have any damage or they won't have a warp disruptor fit) so you can take as long as you need to kill them.

Looking for targets in WH space will teach you a lot about scanning and pinpointing things with dscan, target selection, cloaking and stealth mechanics, bubbles mechanics, situational awareness, etc. etc. It's really the only place in the game where you can get the element of complete surprise without local giving you away. Just be prepared to spend time scanning, stalking, and waiting. You'll need to cultivate the patience to choose good targets or you will end up in a pod very quickly. I know this from experience. ^^ This.

If you are expecting a normal high-risk operation... about 300 to 500 units of faction torps will do.

If you are expecting a structure bash... 300 faction torps and 1000+ of regular torps.

If you are expecting a long term mission (like BLOP Dropping)... 500+ faction torps will be needed plus a mobile depot, one or two bombs, and a bomb launcher (because you have no idea what targets will be out there).

Nothing in Eve is easy. Answering a newbie's questions are hard. People (possibly J'Poll) do roams, and with newbies they train, to do those roams. Likely there is a "fleet doctrine" for those roams. Example: What ship fit. What ammo. How much ammo. How to "fly" in fleet. What to expect first, second, third, etc, as needed, etc....

The reason for all the "complicated" answers, along with forums, and Evlopedia, and Evewikki, Battleclinic, personal blogs, etc, and so on and so on and so on, is because there is a lot of "stuff" that you can do in Eve and God only knows what YOU are doing and how you are doing it and when. No easy answers.

For all the newbies: If the OP had posted a ship fit first. Along with where he is going to fly, how they are going to fly, who they are going to fly with, along with skills trained, comrade's skills trained, etc., etc., etc.......it possibly would have been "easy" to drop a number into the equation.

When I first started doing fleet roams in rifters, we carried no more than 500 rounds of ammo - because it was expected that we lose our ship.

You can do a LOT more with a SB. Even though it is still a frigate.
