Who really cares about the New Year same **** different year tbh, I would much rather spend it doing what I want not want is the normal, for me that is staying in with my kid watch a few movies play a few games and even kill a archon in a WH ,

On skype with the gf as she works the night away here. Ill drink a few beers. I dont go out partying anymore been there done that. I laugh cuz my parents have more of a social life than I do now but I truly dont mind and I dont have ppl in my life that put pressure on me to conform, got rid of them years ago.

I dunno, I spent way too much of my life getting to the bottom of a bottle and sticking myself into questionable holes.

Being past the college life style, days like this mean a lot less than they use to.

With that said, people I hang out with still don't know that I game to the extent that I do. I don't want them to, I don't want to ever cross game life with real life (never is as fun as it sounds tbh)

I wont be gaming into the new year. ill be out, probably having a few too many, probably adventuring into some questionable hole, which at the time will seem like a ehm...riding a titan?

anywhoo...if you are worried about what others will think surround yourself with people more like you, its simple.

if that means spending an over hyped reason to get drunk and an std... online and ratting instead, consider yourself just as happy as those who will be having a headache and a future doctor visit on the same level as you, minus the regret.


truth be told if the people you most want to be with are online in a game vs in a bar shtfaced, who the fck cares.


now if you don't mind ill be off in my own fantasy role playing game where ill need to be double wrapped and possible wake up some where I don't recognize. pray for me.

Last appartment building, rubbish view most of the time except for (double) rainbows and fireworks.

Caught up with an old friend and .... well fireworks during fireworks, perfect timing for them. Blink

Quite quiet though, played EVE most of the day and later this morning.

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

Saw fireworks at 00:00. Dropped a Domi fleet on bashing Gilas in a WH at about 00:30. Lol

Then had some fine whiskey, chatted on comms a bit and went to bed.
