Laughably terrible idea!

If you want to play the FW mini-sov game , join a faction ffs.

If you want fights, just undock in Black Rise, we're waiting for you.

As a FW combatant, I would love the ability to punish other players for ceding a plex to me, regardless if I'm in a militia. A small LP reward as a thank you from the opposing faction of the pilot forced off would be neat.

I'm also of the opinion that game play revolving around idling on a beacon for 10-20 minutes is thoroughly mind numbing and should be addressed. Separate, though related game play issue.

Finally, a sensible response from someone who gets respect as a pvper.

I am proposing a way of punishing LP farmers.

no this is a terrible idea and would just stop the loosing side ever being able to take systems back as alts would just close down plexs so no one could run them

Read the bit about balance and 'vulnerable when the plex is 50% done' again

Apparently you have absolutely no clue how FW plexes work, so let me enlighten you:

Since fw complexes, whether they are defended by the side that owns the system or run down by the opposing militia, NEED to have a person from one of the militias capping them to affect the contested level of the system in question. This can either help the defending side keep their system, or the opposing side push it into vulnerable once enough plexes have been run, and potentially flip the system after bashing the infrastructure hub. Some fanciful BS about neutrals coming in and somehow thinking they're entitled to affect FW in any way other than being target practice or pirates is so hilariously wrong I got a fatal hernia from laughing so hard I woke up in a new clone.

Thank God I don't have to update them any more.

You want to affect FW without joining it? Sharpen your solo or small gang pvp skills and go shoot some folks. You want to actually take part in a game mechanic you have to literally enlist to participate in by doing something that amounts to nothing more than being a prankster or a troll? I would like you to either pass what you're smoking, or ask how running distribution missions in hisec can directly affect the wormhole community, since that is literally how far removed from space-based virtual reality you are. Roll

Whilst cute and witty responses are welcomed, I will ignore yours, based on the fact that you had to exaggerate my point and make it look idiotic, to make yourself look clever and knowledgable.

Ok, so you're not in FW but you want to 'punish' farmers because...?

Why look to sort things out yourself in game, when you can run to the forums and whine?

One would think the current mechanic allowing them to be captured was enough to close them.

If a neutral wants to play FW, then they should join FW.

With a method that will be horridly abused without effecting LP farmers.
You want to effect LP Farmers: go into the plex and shoot them. Or Shoot them outside the plex. Your choice, but the options already exist without creating a system ripe for abuse.

Cloaking is the closest thing to a "Pause Game" button one can get while in space.

For the record I've spent over a year in FW, so lets cut out the 'you aren't in FW so shut up' BS. I left because of the terrible mechanics that exist. Heck, I'd love to come back if CCP sorted this mess out.

If neutrals weren't supposed to blow you ******* up, piracy wouldn't exist outside of pathetic hisec 'piracy'.

Eve Online is based on risk vs reward, and LP farmers face no risk yet are rewarded with isk/hr that rivals nullsec ratting and even incursions. I don't care about blowing up isk farmers, I would rather see an empty local than warp to a load of plexes with people inside who just run away. Its unfortunate that CCP are happy to let people farm LP, going against their own mantra, just for sub money.

This thread has made me aware of the sheer amount of LP farmers there are, and the fierce defense they receive, so I'll keep my opinions to myself in future and let you arrogant children continue with your little games.

You should join FW and then keep militia chat closed. sorted.

Here is a thought..........

Make it impossible for non militia pilots to enter gated plexes.

Neutrals would then have to
1.) wait on the outside of these plexes
2.) gatecamp for militia targets
3.) wait for militia on milita fleet fights to occur and then interupt them
4.) be able only to enter ungated plexes.

just a thought.....but really why should a neutral....pirate or hired merc thug have any real consequence or effect on the militia mechanics...

confirmed there have never been low-sec piracy before fw was introduced

i hate farmers same as you, but your idea is still BAD
other thing is ccp dont care about fw, so there wont be any changes any time soon. how long is it they said they will add webs into fw missions (isk faucets) to reduce ppl doing them in bombers, year or so?

They're actually ISK sinks, maybe that's why CCP is fine with them.

making few bilions per few hours without almost any risk and fw involvement is considered isk sink now? how?

:)

Because you make LP, not ISK. Then you spend ISK to get faction gear - that's the ISK sink. That ISK is removed from the game economy.

Then you sell the faction gear, and make billions, but it's other players giving you ISK. It's not a faucet because no ISK is added to the game economy. It's just existing ISK that trades hands.

Anyway, I was mostly joking. I guess CCP is happy having people in lowsec, even if mostly trying to farm ISK.
