For PvP I lean towards something with a fast tempo such as this, or a classic like this.



I'm definitely digging Skeletonwitch, another one I haven't heard of before but will definitely be listening to a lot here in the future. I love the speed thrash sound along with the guttural vocals. I haven't heard a lot of that style before. Most of it that I've heard has more traditional vocals like Dragonforce or Black Majesty.

A lot of the metal I listen to is Scandinavian. Have you ever heard of Ensiferum or Tyr?

I'm glad you're digging Skeletonwitch. I have no idea what their actual sub-genre is, but they have been referred to as Blackened Deathly Thrash Metal.

Though I will admit that I like all of their stuff and will play their full discography. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fu2bgwcv43o is a good one from Tyr. Another band I'm a big fan of is Turisas. Their version of Rasputin is one of the best that I've heard https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdkBs0VCSX0

Moonsorrow is a really good one but their stuff is more folky and it's all in Finnish. Their songs are also epics, a lot of them are over 10 minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fx15mA4TRg is one that I listen to more than the others.

I recently started playing, so I have zero pvp experience in this game- but this (and similar) is what I pvp'd in other games to and will in this one. I wouldn't say they're all "pump it up" music, but hey. Sorry about the length!
