I am not 100% sure, but I will take a look as soon as I am back in the office on the 2nd of January. Hopefully I will be able to update Singularity to Proteus then.

Has anyone noticed that Proteus comes only 5 weeks after Rhea instead of 6?
And the next release (Tiamat) is only 5 weeks thereafter.

Are we splitting hair now?

We were promised 10 releases per year, nothing more and nothing less. Nowhere were we told that is would be six weeks in between them.

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!

10 release over 52 weeks a year = 5.2

Means more 5 week releases than 6.

Math op!

Confirming we never said 6 weeks, rather we said "from 2 expansions to 10 releases". At regular intervals it will be 5 weeks between releases and 7 weeks in the summer. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMmy3Zitc9I

Its not faster, its more frequent with smaller releases. The feature takes maybe even longer to develop, because of reduced staff.

The frequency of release actually has no impact on development throughput now, they have decoupled development from release.

Every release they just stuff in everything that is ready. That thing could have been worked on for 2 days, 2 sprints, or 2 years. That is irrelevant.

The only impact of five weeks vs 6 is the amount of time a feature has to potentially sit "done" before released.

I'd really hope that isn't the case, if so I hope it gets tested decently at-least.

Just shoving "ready" things in a box for delivery sounds like bad practice.
That said, CCP probably knows what they're doing.

Just hope to peek on releases more often on SiSi.

Test is part of the development process.

The change is before their scope was required to fit within the 6 month cycle (often far smaller then that) because the cycle was rigid. Now that development is decoupled, it doesn't matter. Testing is part of being "ready".

I realised Round 2 of Module Tiericide wasn't included? Intentional or included later in SISI ?

Reduced staff? Can you explain? Each feature before and now was and is generally worked on by a single team.
