Following the release of NVidia's DSR in the 344.48 driver that opens the DSR tech to a number of current and older gfx cards it'd be really nice to be able to scale the Eve UI greater than 150%. Perhaps 200, 250, & 300%?

Oh yes please!

I tried DSR yesterday. It's not a revolution but it makes EVE even prettier indeed. Unplayable with the tiny UI but pretty ;)

I agree the game dev should add UI to 300%

Yea new UI coming this month maybe they should do this with it instead of doing the new colors. Make it functional before colorful.

Would love to see this added. I occasionally use a 4k projector, and the UI is hell, even running a single client.

Talking more,

Flying crazier,

And drinking more

Making battleships worth the warp

How did you guys turn on DSR ? I could enable it for Diablo 3 and other games, but it doesn't show when I select settings for Eve (evefile.exe) at Nvidia Control Panel.

It's a global option that you can't assign to individual applications.

Look for it under "Global Settings" of the Nvidia Control Panel.

If you use it with a specific game or app (look in the game's graphics & resolution options preferences), by selecting its magical resolutions, - you want to be sure to have the game's AA, and similar blur / smoothing features turned off. DSR has its own form of softening that by default is set to 33% but depending on the game or your monitor / or your eyes' visual preferences you may want to tweak the 33 to say 30 or similar.

You might think of DSR as making availble magical resolutions to windows.
Windows then makes these resolutions available to any game or program that opens its own full screen window.

It's a bit like resolution in the era of the CRT. Where you could within certain frequency ranges have the monitor display at various resolutions (eg. - 800x600, 1024x768, 640x480 etc.). Where as traditional LCD's have a relatively fixed specific resolution they operate best at.

In Eve, it will be within Settings>Display&Graphics>Adapter resolution

There you will see your current resolution and resolutions you can increase or decrease the eve, "Full Screen" window to.
