Confessor issue?

Admittedly I don't fly many buffer tanked ships, that being said,
My confessor fit has 18,375 ehp with lowest resist at 60% I believe

So it should tank ~9000 damage before exploding... But what I get is around 6k damage taken and then pop

Coercer has no where near the ehp or resists but the damage take. Is so close?

kill board doesn't show EHP. It shows damage taken after it has been reduced by resists. So, assuming you had 60% resists across the board, your EHP would have been roughly 6114/.6=10190. Seems about right.

in eft that fit has 6,008 raw hitpoints, so that is (at least on an armor buffer) about exactly how much should show up on the kill mail, maybe add a little more for shield recharge.

Exept 10109 is the ehp of my fit not in defense mode..
18k with defense mode

You are. You should be seeing 6000ish raw damage on a killboard regardless of ehp as killboards don't factor in resists. Since Confessor mode bonuses are just to resists and not raw hp the total damage taken won't change based on mode.

take the shield/armor/hull hitpoints showed on your hub sum them up, thats the raw hp of your ship and thats what will appear on the KM, minor difference to that if the killing blow "overkill" you
