This update is to let you guys know about the new map feature we've added to EvE-Scout.com. The map displays all of New Eden and where you can find the nearest connections to Thera. We hope you enjoy!

If you love the service as much as we do, consider becoming a scout today. We share the donations that we receive with our scouts and you don't need to leave your current corporation to join us.

Drop by the "EvE-Scout" in-game channel to find out more.

We've have had a great few weeks, but we are just getting started. Keep an eye out for upcoming announcements regarding our plans to expand service beyond Thera.

*If you would like to be kept in the loop in-game join the mailing list "EvE-Scout" for updates.

**If you are unfamiliar with the EvE-Scout service make sure to check out our release post.

That's a pretty map.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

Thanks. Also, I understand where you're coming from with this. We've actually gone back and forth about this among ourselves a bit internally.

The conclusion that we've reached at this point is that while in most areas of space we would agree that the scanning mini-game is an integral part of the content, we feel it is somewhat less so with the entrances to Thera. Providing this information appears to be having the effect of driving content rather than inhibiting it.

As long as our efforts are encouraging content we see value in continuing to offer this kind of service.

Very wise and thoughtful answer. I'm still wary. <. <

I support this service, in hope it sees more people flocking to Thera, combateers & traders alike.

In order to raise more awareness, I published an article on your service: 'Finding the way to Thera thanks to EvE-Scout!'

I understand the concern Kluntz puts forward, but it's a trade-off between 'do it yourself' and risk a dead system or make it a public group effort and hopefully driving enough people to Thera that it becomes self-sustaining (get enough people at a certain location, and others will flock to it for a variety of reasons, from trade to combat)
