I know that we don't need to have everything covered in this game by every size of ship. But just wondering, why we haven't seen a remote shield repair Battleship yet!

It's called a Logisnake. They don't have any bonuses, but they are bastards to kill

It would probably be extremely over powered and if but then extremely difficult to balance. It would fit somewhere between the power of a logistics cruiser and the power of a carrier.

Logistics cruisers are extremely powerful. Carriers more so, carriers are so powerful that they require many drawbacks to compensate for their power. To situate something between those two would be difficult.

I refuse to call the nestor a logiboat, triage paladin all the way; I'd assume a golem or vargur could do the same with enough boosters.

Try one out fit like a undersized slowcat. They can do some pretty cool things, especially with cross-refitting.

I'd just be happy with a T2 frigate logistics ship.

This would be a good add on to the nestor. A battleship logi should be able to do both and it would put it to use

The reason they don't exist is because there's really no need to have them. The tech II cruisers already do a god job keeping fleets of battleships alive - adding something at the battleship level would just be overkill, and it would be hard to balance between the cruisers and carriers.
