Inventing Interface

So I took a break for six months to try some other games. I came back to EVE to see whats been going on.

I tried to invent something today and the new interface is not detecting the data cores in my station inventory.

Is there something I need to do to get the interface to detect them?

Thanks,

P.S.

Oh, and by the way...thanks sooo much CCP for changing the data core requirements on drone invention. That was all I used to invent, now I can hardly invent anything. You could have at least refunded my skill points. Now I have a bunch of points into the old data core skills which are useless (half useless, but I'm ranting so just roll with it). Bear

make sure the input area is the same area as the datacores, over in the top rightish of the invention window somewhere.

Everything including me is on the same station. What else is there to do?

Double, triple, then quadruple check the input location that the industry interface is looking at (drop down top-right on it). Every single case that I've seen since Phoebe it's been that the input location has defaulted to a container or hanger where the materials are not.

Top-right of the Industry interface, the 'input' drop down.

What hanger? Same one that the items are in? It may default to looking inside a container, it may have defaulted to a corp hanger.
Or, just post a screenshot of the industry interface.

It does work fine, the defaults for input and output locations are just a little silly sometimes.
Edit: It's not about where you are or where the materials are. We're saying to check the location that the indy interface is looking. Which is often not where it's supposed to be looking.

I reinstalled EvE and now it seeems to be working.

Going to be a pain if every time I want to invent something I have to reinstall EvE, but judging by all the posts I have read here relating to the same issue it seems to be a common problem.

Probably could have just cleared your cache and fixed it. But fixed is fixed.
