Manufacturing bug?

Since the update that made changes to the manufacturing process I've been unable to make things from BPs. Irrespective of how much material or components I have in stock, the game shows for instance, 0/5000 nocxium. I raised this as a possible bug with CCP several weeks ago but have received no updates.

Anyone else had this issue and resolved it?

If this were indeed broken for everyone then the forums would be on fire. So it has to just be you.

Silly question but... Are you sure your materials are in the basic items hanger and not in station containers or some sort of sub-storage or even another station? Those are the only reasons why they shouldn't show up.

If you have multiple possible inputs, there is a dropdown menu on the upper right corner to select input as well.

I haven't had this problem, so yeah like others said are you sure it's in the right hangar and not in your ships cargo or whatnot? Assuming it is in the same item hangar as your BP, did you file a petition or did you submit a bug report? If you did submit a bug report I'd suggest opening a petition in-game instead (esc -> Your Support Tickets -> Create New Support Ticket).

I DID have this issue. Make sure the input directory above the picture of whatever your making is set to where your items are.

I couldn't figure out WHY I couldn't build rigs, then I realized the input was the same container as my blueprints. Just check your item input. Its on the right of the build screen.

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?

There is still the issue that T2 ships cann't be build with materials in containers. If you select the right container the ship Hangar is no longer a valid source and the ship there is not available.

The bug is in your brain, OP.

Granted, the new interface was a little confusing at first for some. But they figured it out.

Why haven't you?

A... good friend of mine had this problem a few days ago. Turns out the station I was in... I mean, he was in, didn't have a factory and the industry window was showing a quote for a station one system over.

Can you still do remote manufacturing at a POS? Or does the blueprint still have to be in the assembly array?

Need stuff moved? Push Industries will handle it. Serving highsec, lowsec and nullsec - and we do it faster and more reliably than anyone else. Ingame channel: PUSHX

Thanks for the generally helpful replies.

Hal Morsh - you are spot on. Even though I have manufactured under the new system, I see that, like your experience, every one of my hundred odd bps is now set to find materials in my blueprint container. At the real risk of Mr. Epeen thinking me even more ignorant, is there a way to change the default pointer, rather than amend each bp? It isn't obvious.

You are certainly tenacious. I'll give you that.

As for the default question.

I don't think so. But I've found that once you set the first BP location, all the matching ones in the same container will follow suit.
