For those budding freighter pilots looking to make small runs into and out of Null here is the ship for you. The trait that all of these configurations have in common is that the model takes advantage of the Proteus' ability to both be a Covert Ops and a bubble nullifier with the Interdiction Nullifier sub-system fit.

Proteus Cargo Ship, Non-combat role / Ariasia Configuration Number One

High Slots - 1 x Covert Ops Cloak
Mid Slots - Shield Hardener Modules of your determination
Low slots - 6 x Cargo Expander II's
Rigs - 3 x Cargo Optimization II's
Sub-system importance - Proteus Propulsion - Interdiction Nullifier , Proteus Offensive - Covert Reconfiguration

Proteus Cargo Ship, Combat role / Ariasia Configuration Number Two

High Slots - 1 x Covert Ops Cloak + 4 x Heavy Neutron Blasters
Mid Slots - Shield Hardener Modules of your determination
Low slots - 6 x Cargo Expander II's
Rigs - 3 x Cargo Optimization II's
Sub-system importance - Proteus Propulsion - Interdiction Nullifier , Proteus Offensive - Covert Reconfiguration

Proteus Mining Ship, Non-Combat role / Ariasia Configuration Number Three

High Slots - 1 x Covert Ops Cloak + 4 x T2 Mining Lasers
Mid Slots - Shield Hardener Modules of your determination
Low slots - 6 x Cargo Expander II's
Rigs - 3 x Cargo Optimization II's
Sub-system importance - Proteus Propulsion - Interdiction Nullifier , Proteus Offensive - Covert Reconfiguration

Proteus Mining Ship, Combat role / Ariasia Configuration Number Four

High Slots - 1 x Covert Ops Cloak + 2 x T2 Mining Lasers + 2 Medium Heavy Neutron Blasters
Mid Slots - Shield Hardener Modules of your determination
Low slots - 6 x Cargo Expander II's
Rigs - 3 x Cargo Optimization II's
Sub-system importance - Proteus Propulsion - Interdiction Nullifier , Proteus Offensive - Covert Reconfiguration

With the T2 Ariasia model you will get close to 2100 m/3 of cargo volume.
*Using cargo implants will increase the cargo volume even more

Correction: T3 Covert Nullified Mining Vessels.

Giving it less than a page before the usual highsec mining lobbyists insist on Bastion Module and Arty Tornado levels of alpha as well...

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

I have no idea, propably misclicked, can't even fly gallente naval shapeshifter god. Last time i misclicked i've landed on cyno beacon with over 100 vessels on grid. They were so shocked to see me they didn't even locked me. I love my superagile tengu.

The problem with all of these fits is that they will align rather slowly. Really effective nullsec gatecamps have fast frigate pilots who are rather skilled at de-cloaking CovOps-fit ships before they can get into warp, regardless of bubbles or interdiction nullification.

These fits may well pass casual camps and stray bubbles, but they will still die horribly to serious camps.

Thank you, thank you thank you! I now have hope I'll be able to mine in null with my legion. I needed something to do in between incursions.

I don't know where this guy is from, but here in the U.S. we call this kind of thing "redneck". This guy is the original space redneck. Perhaps we can have jukebox back and have the theme to "Beverly Hillbillys" on it so we can play it repeatedly while mining in null in a T3.

This was my first thought as well. Expanded Cargoholds often lead to death for Blockade Runners and Tech 3's. In fact, every single Blockade Runner my alts and I have killed has had all Expanded Cargoholds in the low slots, with an empty cargo hold. People never bother to refit to a proper travel fit for these ships, despite the existence of the mobile depot, and the ample cargo space.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

So, maybe someone wants to be able to mine in a Proteus Ninja Style while being able to warp cloaked and avoid bubbles.

This is the variant that I hope CCP would look into making another type of ship from for the mining class of frigate.

"When's the last time that any of you have traveled 75 jumps, thinking that a Nullifier Interdiction Sub if fit to your Proteus through 0.0 ending up in a -0.8 system where after breaking free of five bubble gate camps your Proteus is destroyed by Incursion Ships, NPCS! on a gate after they de-cloak you and you then sell a Deimos and other items to purchase a new Proteus the same day just to have THAT Proteus blown up by a donkey camp on a gate, all within the same day mind you....well? That's what I thought. Go rest your neck. Your shoulders are tired of supporting dead weight."
