This game needs more engaging ways to play solo but this is definitely one of the worst ideas I've ever seen.

You want to fix the game? Here's a non-gimmick way of doing it: unsub all the alts. Make people more reliant on other human beings instead of their armies of min-maxed monopole alts that can't do anything without beurocratic oversight.

You all said fleet up EVE is unfair and that you can all take out corporations single handedly. That's the arguement.
Or excuse me any fleet in the galaxy.

I said a million posts ago thats its not that bad of an idea but its not perfect and i also said it may need alterations like a scrambler to a warp core. Do you have any suggestions or just want to say it's a stupid idea?

I've been around since 2007 and my dad has 60 million skill points and he stopped playing years ago. I've been around. You people need to give up they are already working on what I'm talking about. When it comes to MMO's it's about being great why else would it take 23 years to train all the skills? or a hundred days to fly a ship? Let me tell you what my dad thinks about ganks and the jump gates.....well that's forbidden. And I watch all day long at the map and see people dead all day everyday at the gates to null sec. And what in the world is the problem? I came up with an idea and you all just started blasting me with how stupid I am?

A good point of view: If you feel yourself like criticising the whole the system, you may better leave it because there are tons of others benefitting from the same system.

If you're unable to compete with what you've got, more importantly, if you can't say "yes! that was a nice fight" after you lost your ship, this game will make you cancer, no more.

Either put yourself together and take courses and learn stuff you're missing OR pack all your stuff together and say a goodbye. The game will be fine-tuned as the time passes but less then rare of it will ever change completely.

I am a world before I am a man
I was a creature before I could stand
I will remember before I forget
BEFORE I FORGET THAT!

I would quote every single post here if I could.

Let me point out that my idea was already read so the only thing going on is me trying to perfect the idea while captain obvious points things out.

What do all of you soloist have on your ship? Maybe we can determine if the use of modules or certain ships effect solo play or how to make this idea fit the game.

Forum rules

2. Be respectful toward others at all times.

The purpose of the EVE Online forums is to provide a platform for exchange of ideas, and a venue for the discussion of EVE Online. Occasionally there will be conflicts that arise when people voice opinions. Forum users are expected to be courteous when disagreeing with others.

5. Trolling is prohibited.

Trolling is a defined as a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting other players in an attempt to incite retaliation or an emotional response. Posts of this nature are disruptive, often abusive, and do not contribute to the sense of community that CCP promote.

13. Spamming is prohibited.

Spam is defined as the repetitive posting of the same topic or nonsensical post that has no substance and is often designed to annoy other forum users. This can include the words “first”, “go back to (insert other game name)” and other such posts that contribute no value to forum discussion. Spamming also includes the posting of ASCII art within a forum post, or the practice of “thread necromancy” which involved bumping of old threads for no justifiable reason.

23. Post constructively.

Negative feedback can be very useful to further improve EVE Online provided that it is presented in a civil and factual manner. All users are encouraged to honestly express their feelings regarding EVE Online and how it can be improved. Posts that are non-constructive, insulting or in breach of the rules will be deleted regardless of how valid the ideas behind them may be. Users are also reminded that posting with a lack of content also constitutes non-constructive posting.

27. Off-topic posting is prohibited.

Off-topic posting is permitted within reason, as sometimes a single comment may color or lighten the tone of discussion. However, excessive posting of off-topic remarks in an attempt to derail a thread may result in the thread being locked, or a forum warning being issued to the off-topic poster.
