Took the plunge and booked a holiday over Christmas.
Was wondering if CCP will allow a litte tour of the HQ?
Perhaps if I brought booze?

Any recommendations of restaurants or venues to go to?

I wouldn't bet on getting any tour if you show up unannounced. I would suggest dropping a line to the community team / CCP Falcan and see if they are up for it. Bringing beer will help though.

I was fortunate to get a private tour of the CCP HQ a few years ago, it was nice.

Will they even be there for the holidays? I would wager they like to party.

You would absolutely need to submit a ticket if you wanted to have a chance.

Alcohol will also help your chances, make sure you mention that in your ticket. Blink

Found the restaurant "Uno" in Haefnarstrati a quite nice place. (Italian)
And we were told to avoid placed where they serve whale (reason: global shortage of whales).

Was there at fanfest. If you are looking for a quick lunch one day I recommend the noodle place near the cathedral. Just down from the leifur eriksson hotel. Also be sure to visit blue lagoon on the last day. It's more or less on the way to the airport.

I drain ducks of their moisture for sustenance.

Thanks for the recommendations!

I do want to visit the EVE monument as well and search for my name!
However, I couldn't find an address for it.
Anyone know?

I can't decide whether a trip to Iceland in December would be:

- fabulous because of the increased chance of seeing the Aurora Borealis; or
- horrible because of the increased chance of being turned into an icicle.

I think the first one wins by a snowflake.

Do you play EVE like a girl ...because um... you ARE a girl?

Do you know about the WGoE (Women Gamers of EVE) chat channel?

For access information visit the public chat room 'Women Gamers public'.

Not to mention, there's only about 3-4 hours of daylight...
1130 sunrises and 1530 sets.

But I get the best chance to see the Northern Lights, so I got that going on for me which is nice...
