how and where can I turn off game log saving?

why? you have some ssd/hdd/hbr space problems? 1 mb text is to mutch?

Over time EVE makes thousands of useless log files in the logs folder and mine was about 2 gigs in size as of a minute ago. I'd appreciate the option to disable them, so I don't have to manually delete them

Or an option to auto-delete logs older than a month. You could write a PowerShell script to do that if you wanted to.

One solution would be to launch Eve from a batch file which deletes the log files either starting or exiting Eve.

Another would be to edit the "Log and Messages" settings within Eve so that less is written to the log. Not sure if that impacts on the verbosity of the messages displayed in-game so you'd need to check, but there does seem to be separate settings for messages to log and messages to display.

My idea would be to reroute the directory onto a small ramdrive.
There is no option afaik.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

1 mb? why do you even bother commenting on something you have no idea about?
after a few months of playing (new player here), I have over 500mb of log files.

The batch file? Of course you can. On a WIndows box, Documents>EVE>logs>Gamelogs. Delete the files in there. Done.

I understand I can delete log files manually, or make a batch file and schedule its execution. it's not the point though.
