Day of Darkness caused by Time Travel ?

With curious astrophysical phenomena making the news recently, Gutter Press spoke to a Sebiestor astrophysics researcher at the Republic University campus in Edmalbrurdus, who made an astonishing claim !

"Time Travel is bunk ! but that doesn't stop people from trying!", she said. "If it did work, then I'd have come back from the future and told myself how it works. Since I haven't, then logically it can't work."

The recent news about a stellar event visible where it shouldn't be, has increased the curiosity of students into astrophysical phenomena: "Every week, some first year student comes into my office, 'Professor, is time travel possible?' they say. And now I'm getting not just one, but three or four a week!", she explained.

"First year students have too much time to think of silly notions.", she stated. "They should be studying."

"If time travel is possible, I'll bet some crafty Sebiestor was the first to try it."

"In fact, I'll bet that the storms on the Day of Darkness were caused by students experiments in time travel. Certainly their supervising professors wouldn't have done anything so foolish."

An incredible claim !

"Every student has bold ideas about going back in time to defeat the Amarr invasion force, so I think that's what they did. Went back in time, but of course, being foolish undergraduates, they screwed it up!", the professor asserted.

"They did it with the best of intentions, I am sure, but obviously, it didn't work, did it ?"

A different astrophysics professor at a different campus of Republic University had this to say:

"Girl, have you been sampling the Angel's merchandise? Day of darkness caused by Sebiestor undergraduates attempting time travel ? I've never heard anything so ridiculous, and I listen to undergraduates all day."

Whatever the truth of time travel, it causes great argument amongst academia, and provides much material for the entertainment industry.

Gutter Press, the stories you didn't know you needed.

I time travel all the time! When I'm feeling like sleeping until late, I just set my clock back so I still wake up early!

I travel into the future quite a lot. Normally at the rate of about one second per second.

Why, Rodj Blake! You made a funny!

I've always found a good sense of humor to be a man's sexiest attribute.

We should go out some time, just you and me. A nice dinner, a bottle of the finest wine, back to your place - or maybe mine...

Let the clo- er, chips fall where they may, hm?

It'll be a blast.

Swiggity swooty.

Strike us like matches, 'cause everyone deserves the flames.

No, you cannot travel back in time. There are theories about parallel universes that exist in different stages of progression and possiblities but the research is unproven and highly skeptical.

You cannot unsay words, much like you cannot roll back time. What's done is done.

Is it sad I thought Havo had a thing for Liuni? They seem to bicker like a married couple. Would be a cute couple, all I'm saying....

The passage of time is relative, so travelling through it is theoretically possible. Though not in the way of building some sort of device or drive and you can only forward. Just find your friendly neighborhood black hole.

Day of Darkness?..

Is this how they called the Day, when the Empire brought His Light, teaching, education and culture to Minmatar?..

You all need to read more scriptures.

Sorry, they don't hold scripture readings in the RMS. And what about the storms?

Perhaps if they did hold Scripture readings in the RMS the cluster would be a better place.

I prefer Imperial Navy reports.

"The initial volleys neutralized sixty-eight separate defense batteries while removing a mere ninety-eight thousand Minmatar from the viable worker stock. Praise unto God."

- Intercepted Amarr Navy transmission during orbital bombardment of "Eanna", Planet VI, The Hror System

Perhaps the Gallete would be willing to teach us their methods of orbital bombardment? I'm sure you'd like those numbers even more!

I prefer the ones that don't involve thousands of innocent people dying, But at least it doesn't involve reading between the lines and meditation to really understand.
