Industry UI not remembering job settings from previous jobs

The industry UI is supposed to remember job properties for a given BPO type and use them as defaults in subsequent jobs of the same type, however this is behaving inconsistently for me. Sometimes all settings are properly populated (in particular, once I set the properties, e.g. team selection, job count, source/destination divisions, those settings are remembered 100% of the time within that client session); however, sometimes the team is forgotten and I have to reselect it, and others every setting is forgotten and I have to retype all of them.

This is a big QOL issue for a large-scale industrialist, and is nerve-wracking to boot (since a missed 0 somewhere might cost me). Is this a known issue, if so is there a workaround, and if not how can I help further diagnose/test it? (Thanks!)

Sorry about the false alarm; I think I've solved this and it's unique to my setup.

Specifically, I use Windows hardlinks to share settings across accounts and toons. I believe I was inadvertently doing the following:

0) Char config file has state X.
1) Toon Alex logs on; client running Alex loads config state X.
2) Toon Bob logs on; client running Bob loads config state X.
3) Toon Bob performs some industry jobs, changing job defaults for some blueprints. Client running Bob now has config state Y.
4) Toon Bob logs off; client that used to be running Bob saves config state Y before exiting.
5) Toon Alex logs off; client that used to be running Alex saves config state X before exiting.
