This is my last day in EVE,

I want to thank CCP for the opportunity, to play the most boring and evil pay to win game on the internet.
It was fun to give my self the challenge to try to get in to EVE for free, which i managed to do, but after the new smell of the game went away, it became clear how paranoia and insane people are in EVE chat/game.

After playing EVE for 6 weeks I realized that the game would force me to continuously do boring chores just to be able to keep playing it, over and over again. NO THANK YOU.
I realize that this pay to win game, is designed in such away that freeloaders like me have an extreme hard time in the game, a bump to make sure only people who are rich play EVE very smart. Even if you pay a subscription EVE will attempt to bore you to death, and in doing so it tries to suck out more ca$h from the players.
I heard multiple people, claim in chat how they just sell PLEX in game to have fun and blow others up. This is NOT a game element, it's simple and plain boredom created to extract ca$h.
This build in boredom to extract ca$h is also why there are so many bots in EVE, I can't blame them.

I go back to playing World of Tanks, World of War Planes, Minecraft, Eurotruck Simulator II MultiPlayer and Civilization IV. (And other games but these I play the most atm)
Who do not demand that I keep on playing them everyday, and are fun on a minute to minute bases, no boring chores needed to have fun, no ca$h needed either.

I know that the Mods here seem to think EVE is not pay to win, don't make me laugh.

1) The game is skill level based, the more skill you got the stronger you are, these skills can be made to level faster, if you are willing to pay insane amounts of ISK, that you are only willing to pay if you sell PLEX for ISK, to buy insanely expensive implants, THIS IS PAY TO WIN, BECAUSE WHEN YOU PAY REAL CASH YOU CAN LEVEL YOUR SKILLS FASTER.

2) You can also level your skills faster, by creating multiple accounts and chars, each with their own skill queue, all leveling to a niche and differing skill set, THIS IS DONE WITH REAL CASH, AND THEREFOR PAY TO WIN.

3) When you sell PLEX to others who are doing boring chores, you can go fly your spaceship and LEARN THE GAME FASTER, in doing so making you more experienced when you pay with cash, THIS IS PAY TO WIN.

4) Spaceships in EVE are expensive, implants are expensive, ship components are expensive, if you sell PLEX for ISK, you are able to use more expensive crap as others who actually play the game while you are watching TV and see your skills level up, as you no longer care when your ship blows up, as you do NOT HAVE TO PLAY EVE AT ALL, you just need to sell PLEX. THIS IS PAY TO WIN & PAY TO NOT GET BORED.

Case closed,

Have a good day, Rene

Every time a moron quits ...
... the game improves.

Thank you for caring so much about the game as to want it to improve for the rest of us,
who isn't as dumb as you are.

Bye!

Pay to win would only be if you couldn't easily do these things with in-game money exclusively.

*He* can't, because that would mean putting effort into it.

Wow and you got all of this out of Eve in 6 weeks? Youre a certifiable genius you are!!Roll

Go play those other non pay to win games cuz EVe is not the place for you if you think its expensive, hard and boring.

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.

I think that the OP has somewhat missed the point......
EVE is a game that rewards time, effort and commitment, The so called Pay to win elements he identifies are not what he thinks, they are choices he makes with his efforts, Alts however are a valid point, more accounts do help, but would that not apply to every game?

The new changes that limit input coordination methods, are addressing part of this, If players desire multiple player controlled alts, then he can still "pay to win" if he wishes to make that choice, but it is by no means compulsory.

Attempting to grind isk to plex one's account however is a poor use of ones time and effort in the beginning, Later it can make sense, but If one pays one's monthly subscription, the income is available to replace losses and add new shineys, as long as one does not throw everything into every contact with other players, disregarding sane decisions.

So Tl;dr OP missed the whole point of EVE, which is to have fun.

There is one EvE. Many people. Many lifestyles. WE are EvE

1. as is the same with WOT [not sure not my thing, i like space ships not tanks ...well not as much as i like space ships] and every game you have ever and will eventually play will be similar if it is an online competitive game. especially if it is a sandbox MMORPG...

2. again you can pay with money in any MMO and get a bonus. who would have thought right. you can pay with ingame currency as well, and who thinks that any of this is against the rules of eve? no one.

3. why not? they can be bought in game as well, list me one game that isn't a grind fest for what you want and what game that doesn't benefit from certain Pay to win elements? you won't find many, most will be single player, which means a set limit of content for the game which leads you to beat it thus becoming bored.....

4. life is expensive, fast cars are expensive, women are expensive, medicals are expensive......and? brings me to my belief of "lifes not fair- deal with it" i am sure if you play other games you'll find they are pay to win, and more often than not won't have a way to play free, like you can with eve. something you clearly aren't interested in finding out.

EvE is a subscription MMO that has the ability to allow you to play for free using in game activities, if your financial restraints dont allow you to play with a sub and your time restraints dont allow you to grind (reading your post i think lazyness more than anything) dont blame the game. Do your research first, dont start a game then complain about it because its not what you want.

Im normally nicer than this and even try to help occasionally so this remark is a little out of character. But after actually reading that utter bull i feel its appropriate.

Dont let the door hit you on the way out.

Have fun....

Although World of tanks is the most Pay-to-Win game of all time.... You can spend money to buy "premium" ammo, that's better than anything you can get through non-RMT.

That is the definition of pay-to-win.... Eve is just pay-to-lazy.

I have payed World of Tanks more then 100 Euro even though you can play it completely for free, I started there not paying anything though. Minecraft, CIvilization and Eurotruck Sim also are payed games, that I payed for.

It is not so much that I would never be willing to pay CCP, but I'm not willing to pay for a game that is so boring and so pay to win as EVE.

It is hilarious that people somehow believe that if you sell PLEX for ISK, that you will buy and use the same items as somebody who doesn't do that, even after somebody payed their subscription. When you got more ISK you will also spend more of it, that is pay to win in my book.

My chars do not fly around with billion+ ISK implants, something you can do when you do not care about how much ISK something costs, yes you can buy the implants also by making ISK your self, but of cause you will not use the same expensive ones, because they are gone when you die.
The same goes for ships and their components, selling PLEX for ISK will allow you to fly much more expensive ships as you will simply not care about the costs of it, where others do.

I have to laugh at the insulting remarks made in this threat, your dumb if you don't want to play EVE hahaha
Then 7 billion people on the planet, minus the 20,000 people who play EVE must all be dumb idiots (40k people divided by multiple accounts),also EVE has a global server, in WoT European servers (they got Russian, USA & Asian servers too) there are daily 240K people playing all single accounts, that is like 12x more people on a local server , you can multiply that by 4 to get the global amount of players. Dota 2 has 2 million unique players per month, EVE doesn't even register when it comes to player count.
But yeh keep on dreaming :D

.../blinks Shocked

So you want Cookies & Cream & not actually play the game!!!
You want to play the game for Free!!!
You don't like the fact that it takes time to gain "Skill points"
You don't like the fact that you can buy "Plex" in-game currency etc...

These are the Core parts of the game, that Screams this is a MMO... Google is your friend, always find out information about a game before you decide to dedicate your time, perhaps Blink

Anything that costs loads of ISK in this game will at some point be destroyed / looted... Pirate

EVEBoard ...Just over 60million skill points, each skill was chosen for a reason. I closed my eyes & clicked another skill to train... "BINGO...!!!" ... "This time i got something usefull"

In World of Tanks you can buy the premium amo with credits.

But yes it's slightly pay to win in that you can indeed use up more premium amo because you have more credits to spend.

That said premium amo is not always the best amo, and you can pick a tank that doesn't need premium amo to be a good tank, like I never use premium amo on the IS3, Tiger II, T32 or ISU 152 to name a vew.

WoT wants your cash mostly when you want to play a lot of tier X tanks, making your life hard to earn credits if you never pay them.
That said nobody is forcing you to play tier X, you can just have as much fun in lower tiers without the need of spending lots of credits, also WoT gives out free premium tanks for doing missions, I have a free tier 8 Super Pershing, free tier 7 chinese light, and a free tier 5 heavy, two free tier 3 tanks, and some 5 free tier 2, also you can win premium acount days doing missions, and currently you can win 25 gold per day if you get 5 victories.

So even if you never pay them cash you can still have a tier 8 premium tank, get premium days and free gold and tank slots etc.

Go back to WoW/ArcheAge/WoT/whatever lesser game.

We are the elite, you just suck.

Seriously, how ****** up must you be to come here and whinerage about
something that obviously isn't your business?

What makes you angry exactly?

The fact that the game shows you that you're a loser who can't cut it?

Please post your thoughts in a concise and clear manner while avoiding going off on rambling tangents.

CCP recognize that during the course of gameplay a lot of friendships are made between players and that sometimes if a player is taking a break or departing from the EVE universe that they would like to say goodbye on the forums. Posts of this nature are only permitted on the Out of Pod Experience forum, and must be civil and well worded.

Normally I would move quitting posts to OOPE, but this one has a bit more flamebait involved and I'd like to quash that. Normal rules apply to every thread - please be decent human beings when replying to threads too.
