As there are now all those shiny surfaces, why is it not possible to turn them over time (UV and other radiation, collisions (ammunition impact), etc.) flat?

See, my well loved machariels and other pirate battleships (buty mainly my mach i love my mach) have gotten all dull and boring instead of that old almost black lusterous sheen they used to roll with ...

I would LOVE that old almost black high gloss finish back instead of these crappy sand colored matt varnish pirate battleships... The amarrians prove that shiny black looks cool, ask the khand-ians... So whats up with my mach/bhaal/etc?

+1 for reducing the shine on most ships a bit

+9001 for giving shiny hulls back their in-game shiny.

Talking more,

Flying crazier,

And drinking more

Making battleships worth the warp
