Seekers are part of the Jove - Templar One shows that a Jove faction entered a VR world where they were easily able to reach singularity, and the sleepers were derived from the architects to maintain the bodies whilst they slept.

Not sure if noticed before or if at all relevant.

Found a unidentified structure in a lowsec system, scanned down a WH in this system to a W-space system (not shattered). In this wormhole was only 1 other wormhole (other than the one I entered through) to yet another Lowsec system, but this system ALSO had an unidentified structure.

My theory:
Yes, but their ways splitted, Sleepers journeyed in generational ships to systems abandoned earlier by Talocans. There Sleepers studied Talocan tech. Jove studied Talocan New Eden tech, both races did not made generators until Sansha come and as a genius, he made it using Jove data and he may used the Sleeper components also. Probably there were parts of knowledge that were so shattered, that he needed both.

Systems where Jove were experimenting with wormhole generation, somehow wormhole points to the place, where talocan machines are located to this day.

I tried bumping the structure. Bumped it, then my computer overheated and shut down on me. It was terrifying. I blame the lightning bolts... and an old dirty computer.

(Update: Got under the console and cleaned the ship computer. It was disgusting. Gotta stop smoking on board.)

I recall an event back in 2005/2006 where a jovian had an accident and everyone ended up with a bit of jovian DNA...

what if that is what they are after?

Its not Jove.

Sleeper is guardians of Talocan ancient race place, Talocan left sleeper drones to guard path to therr new homeworlds.

Cloaking structure?

The Talocan were, judging from the remains of Talocan technology found in the archaeological record, masters of Spatial Manipulation and Hypereuclidean Mathematics.

Well, I just got a visit from a pair of Cricadian Seekers while mining in a belt. They scanned some asteroids, one scanned empty space, then they scanned some more asteroids and warped off when someone else warped in. I was mining Scordite. They scanned Scordite. Guess they are analysing Capsuleer behaviour.

Anybody tried to jettison something into space while drones are on grid? No, i don't mean hookers.

At this point, I think the only thing that hasn't been tried is somebody throwing snowballs at them.

Did use Snowball Launcher on both Sleepers and the Structure. On Sisi, a week ago though, they might have added responce later... or not.

I keep searching for Shattered WH systems, hope there might be clues. Heard about Sansha WHs, havent yet been to one. All Sleeper WHs now seem to have an Epicenter celestial. They didnt have those on Sisi pre-Rhea launch (testing things that are implied not to work right is so much fun).

I bet that'll be the snowball that triggers the avalanche of doom - the impending apocalypse.

Did anyone try locking down sleepers at position ...
... and waiting until a new spawn appears?

Let them scan you with a Jove body part or complex fullerene shard.

Templar One explains it. From the words of a dead Jovian AI the sleepers were Jove and were suspected of spreading the Jovian Plague.

My (humble) research supports the theory of these structures being somehow linked to wormholes in the same system. It is also possible that the structure persists in a system after the wormhole connection has died (of age or by players collapsing it).

I'm curious if those structures may act like a cyno to shattered wormhole connections enableing them to establish a K162 into known space... some kind of lightning conductor... only working while their cloaking device is having a malfunction.

If we can't interact with them there should be another reason for them to exist... won't be decoration only.

Thats an interesting idea. Maybe one of these sites means there is a wh into Thera in that system or nearby.

And as Templar One also explains, the construct that the sleepers live in has a rule that a being can only exist in there if it has a real body out here. When the Dust 514 implants are taken, it kills the sleeper in their vr world. There is only one being that can exist in the construct without a physical body and that being has possessed empress Sarum of the Amarr. I also wonder if the being that has implanted itself in the Amarr empress is the broker. I thought the broker was originally a capsuleer but I don't remember if the first book actually said that or implied it. There is obviously something different about the broker since he can run multiple copies of himself at once.

Okej update. for the structure. One spawned in NUl sec and it sits there for a few days now.

We have tried everything we could think of it.

Our corp tried all modules possible on it, scanners, neuts, webs, in decent quantities (over 20 ships at a time) everything u can imagine. Nothing did anything

It is indeed a targetable structure with no cargo, etc all the things already posted above. Not bumpable with large ships. it decloaks you and you cannot cloak next to it.

So far, we believe it is just a lore object in place for a future patch.

For the dudes flying around scanning, they actually entered one of our POS at some point, scanned the tower and warped out (read, they entered the bloody POS shield). Dont know if that was suppose to happen though.

Flying towards it in a cov ops cloak obviously applies the rule of decloaking due to range, but the scanners that hit didnt seem to decloak the blops ship before the actual range like anything would.

They drop no loot but scrap metal, can be shot, but seem to be harmless drones any way else.

Summary: a waste of time for now. Play eve you guys and wait for these to be properly implemented.

Odds are, I would say, that these structures aren't actually entirely in our frame of space. If these are talocan structures, and they were the masters of spacial manipulation, then it's possible that what we see are the 'echoes' of some kind of remote link. Anyone tried hitting them with gravametric ECM/ECCM to see what happens?

*Looks up the page a little.* Hmm.

Anyone tried taking sleeper materials to it? Or jove bitz?
