CCP ExeFile has stopped working.

This morning after the patch I went to log in a number of accounts, as I logged onto the first, I noticed immediately the difference in performance from the night before. I know that graphics have obviously been given an overhaul. When I went to log into my 5th account, the client launcher crashed and specified that "CCP ExeFile has stopped working, it continues like that to the point I load only 4 accounts actively, and even then they run choppy and laggy, too much too play effectively, I have done everything within my means including running the repair tool.

I have read several posts in the forums that are similar along these lines, but nothing exactly like it. Have the graphics been updated to such a degree that it is now causing those with multiple accounts to drop said accounts or is this some type of glitch or error?

I have also tried:

Admin
Repair tool
The repair tool in admin (which patches in and completes)
Running EvE.exe without admin after using repair tool in admin.
It is not possible it is a conflict of mem, as I have 768 GB of free mem.
My video drivers are up too date and power plan is set to performance.
The catalyst station has been set to maximize performance.

It can handle 4 accounts now without any issue, but I still have the original problem.
As to prior to the patch, this was a non issue and I was capable of running all clients just fine.

I have found others that are experiencing this problem, however, the solutions they have proposed either do not work for me, or still do not work for them.

Any help would be appreciated, as I have spent the last 3 days attempting to mend this problem so I can get back to the game.

I pay my subscriptions and if I am unable to fix this problem, I will be forced to cut out that portion of my subscriptions to CCP.

I need help.

I figured out it was my video card.

Due to the fact that CCP unnecessarily over-upgraded graphics, it has caused me to no longer be able to run multiple accounts on EvE. I am not the only one having this issue and you are screwing other players out of their subscriptions, and yourselves out of money. So, do the selfish thing and work on toning down the graphics, they make the game look like candy land.

Oh and by the way, thank you for absolutely no help. I can see you are all too busy rejoicing at the plummeting server numbers, the shortcomings and straight up failures of this installment, and too self absorbed with the asinine notion that this was a good decision to make.

CCP, standing behind Goon and Code and bending to their desires will only hurt your server in the short and long term. They couldent care less about game play, the player base, the game itself, your pocket book, or anything besides shooting someone and bullying someone who couldent care less about their existence. You are destroying your own work and calling it art.

I agree with everything above, my pc which runs every game fine and used to run 3 accounts is now struggling with 1 account at 60fps...... sort this **** out CCP, my subscription may not seem like a lot of £££ but im sure im not the only one with these problems!

Having the same issue as the OP. Random crashes, no real rhyme or reason to when or where or why they are happening. I have 8GB system memory, 1080p maxed out on a 3GB 7950 and am 100% stable at 60fps all the time. The game just ******* crashes all the time and as a new subscriber, I want my ******* $50 back. This is UNACCEPTABLE. Every topic about this issue over the last 4 years has no solution. I'd like one.


by the way, I tried to report a bug during game play using the in game reporter, but, what do you know, it crashed as I was typing out my issue! I re-installed the game completely from scratch and on the intro video it crashes 30 seconds in every single time. WTF!

Started a support ticket and bug report on this. My only solution as of late is to play the game in safe mode. Not sure what safe mode does, but it seems to fix the issue for me. Still not ideal, but at least I can play.

Same problems.

I just started back up today. Come to find out, I just wasted my money, the graphics are too damn high to even load one account.

This needs to be adjusted.

Does your corp use mumble? I'm having this issue sporadically, and every time it's happened, I've also had mumble open. Turning off the mumble overlay seems to fix it so far. This has only been an issue since a mumble update a few weeks ago.
