I have been struggling lately while trying to fit a garmur, I have no idea what to fit it with other then t2 light missiles. If anybody can give me a hand please would be nice.

Passive or active tank?

If I chose a warp disruptor I'll be kiting at range, and the garmur does not have enough umpgh for rocket brawling

Garmur = Kiting ship.

Mwd/Long point/buffer tank

Because your mum just couldn't say no.

The Worm can be fit as both a kiting and brawling ship. However the Worm has a reputation for being one of the more broken frigates in todays metagame so if you fly it as a brawler you'll eventually end up getting dogpiled by 10 guys and dying horrible. For this reasons Worms are often fit as kiting ships as although they aren't very fast, they can project all their dps to long point range easily with light missiles and they can also have a solid tank in a kiting configuration so even if they get caught it will be a tough fight.

At what range would be a good range to keep or orbit? Also with the worm I would want warriors or hobs?

Okay I'm going to take a stab and say you're quite new to PvP or at least frigate PvP. If you don't know what distance to set your orbit at by looking at the fits I posted as well as not knowing when to use warriors, you're definitely not ready for a Garmur/Worm yet.

If you insist on flying one when you're new you're likely to just get killed and lose an expensive ship for nothing. I'd suggest trying cheaper counterparts of these ships before going for the Worm/Garmur. For the Kite worm the closest would be a kiting Tristan and for the Garmur it would be a kiting Condor. Here's some fits for those:

[Tristan, PvP Kite]

Damage Control II
Drone Damage Amplifier II
Nanofiber Internal Structure II

Limited 1MN Microwarpdrive I
Warp Disruptor II
Medium Shield Extender II

Medium Azeotropic Ward Salubrity I

1 damage control and 1 overdrive

Rigs are ago and manuer rigs

1. Go to zkillboard.com
2. Select search box
3. Type "Garmur"
4. Select ship type from drop down
5. On header bar select "losses"

This process can be repeated for any ship that you might like. Simply replace "Garmur" with your desired ship.

Yes this will be a list of dead ships but there will be plenty to get the cerebral juices flowing.

Worms are tough to fly. Many people use links to fly them to buff the weaker parts of the ship(I.E speed)

If you don't have Loki links or 200 mil to drop on a frig don't even use it.

Save flying the worm for worm fleets, its the only way you can know you are safe. POWER IN NUMBERS!

I have a liquid nitrogen cooled fedora storage unit. Test me.
